Hi everyone,

I just recently moved to the Orlando Florida area, so I'm looking for some suggestions on good places to look for good deals on games. I've only been here for about a month, so I haven't ventured too far away and I'm just trying to get familiar with what is nearby. I've looked around at several stores for clearance items and such, but I've not had any luck finding any good deals.

The areas closest to me are the Ocoee, Windermere, Winter Garden area, so any suggestions would be great!

Thanks!

I live over closer to UCF campus. I don't know of too many good deals around here. I know to not bother with the Waterford Lakes Gamestop as their inventory usually sucks compared to the other Gamestops in the area.

Winter Garden Village (Florida) Best Buy

Just grabbed the last Tomb Raider Underworld for 9.99.

They had a 9.99 bin, 14.99 bin, 19.99 bin and 25% off bin.

Here are some of the games I can remember.

9.99
Space Chimps
Warriors Orochi 2
Might and Magic
The Prince Caspian
Hot Wheels Beat That!

14.99
Conan

19.99
The Darkness
Crash Bandicoot
Superman

25% Off
Stoked
Brothers in Arms Collectors Edtion
Last Remanent
Rise of the Argonauts
Bikini Squad

Again, this is all that I can remember. There were alot of various games, if your from the area. Check it out.

I've not really been to the UCF area, only once, because it is pretty far from me and I haven't had anything I needed in the area yet. I've also not really done any yard sales or garage sales because I normally buy my games new. I've only seen one yard sale in my community since moving, so perhaps this area isn't big on having them.

I have been to the Winter Garden Village. I find the Target and Best Buy to be a little bit behind in sales. They seem to mark down about the same times as other stores, but not always the same stuff and their prices seem to be on the high end, at Target. Best Buy really doesn't have too many promotions, as Yanny mentioned they have the bins with some clearance games, but for the most part they seem to be older/less popular titles, though I'm sure a few good ones get mixed in sometimes. The best deals are usually in the 25% off bin, but for the most part those are games I've found cheaper elsewhere. Their $10 bin usually consists of more PS2 games than anything.

I did stop into Play 'n Trade not too long ago, but found their prices to be on the high side as well. From what others have said on the forums they are usually pretty good stores to shop in, if you have good owners, the owners seem nice, but the couple of games I was looking out were way too high for me to want to pay used. If you are looking for a store that will take a little more care of you after the purchase, more so than a big box store, then it may be something to check out, though you may pay a little more.

Anyhow, that has been my experiences so far.

Best deals I find are usually at pawn shops or Goodwill stores. Most of the Value Pawn pawn shops will have PS3 or X360 games for between 10-15 bucks and same for Wii too. They also tend to have a lot of Xbox, PS2, and to lesser extent, Gamecube and PSP games with the rare DS game sprinkled in. I've found some great stuff there like Mario Galaxy for 12 bucks and Killzone 2 for the same. At Goodwill who knows what you can find, but today I grabbed a Halo 2 (disc only) for Xbox for 2 dollars and a PC with box and manual of Company of Heroes for $3 dollars. Hope that helps you out.

If you live near Sanford then hit up Flea World as they have a lot of good deals on video games and movies. You have to find the right places and best people to talk to.

Theyre a place in there called Video Game Trader Row D
They have a lot of everything and a lot of new games with a good selection
