Okay, here's a weird request. Amazon had Metroid Other M at $19.99 for a while. Then it went out of stock, now it's back, but at nearly $40. I just got $20 promo credit (portal) that I was going to use on it. There are other sellers (namely Hastings and Dealdude) that still have it for $20 shipped new.

If anyone was, by chance, going to buy an item from amazon that was $20 anyway, could they just buy me Other M, and I could use my $20 to buy them whatever they were planning on buying anyway? Kind of a longshot, but I'm pissed that I missed the price by a couple of days!! Thanks!

Do NOT buy from dealdude (Shawn Cowger) total scammer! and he reseals games to then sell them as new! ...
on a side note, he also orders from other sellers, files an a-z claim after the game is received ... and actually gets the credit even if the seller has delivery confirmation to him! total piece of work ... amazed Amazon has not banned him ...

promo credit won't work. Gift cards work but promo credit is just for items sold through Amazon and AWD doesn't qualify.
 
Other M is still $20 at Gamestop. Maybe you can use the "Tell us about a lower price" feature to get Amazon to lower their price.
 
I bought one of the $20 copies from Amazon and ending up returning it (still sealed) after I saw the review for it on G4 TV.

Just wait and watch, and you'll likely find complete used copies for $10.
 
Unless the certificate has an expiration date on it, I'd just wait it out. The game will drop to $20 again.

You made the right move. I'm sure many of you are sick of seeing us "Other M sucks!" trolls but this game completely ruined everything that made Samus awesome.

One thing I find surprising is that I've seen this game hit the $20 mark so many times but not once have I seen it for less than $20.
 
I guess I'm the only one who loved Other M. I played it in small bursts over the course of a few months, so the story didn't really have much of an impact.
 
I just noticed that I posted this in the deals and bragging rights forum. Sorry folks. I had multiple tabs open, and thought this was going in Deals and Requests :/
 
I love the series actually. The gameplay looks awesome at least. I'm 100% prepared to hate the story and what they have made Samus.
