Otogi Kicks ASS!

Yep! Anyone with an XBOX NEEDS to do themselves a favor and pick up both Otogi 1 and Otogi 2. Fry's electronics has both for around $20 bucks each. Get em while you still can.
I just got this game, and boy is it stylishly amazing. That is all.
I agree. These games are amazingly stylish which is one of the reasons I prefer console games over pc games.

I recently purchased Otogi 2, and I enjoy it as well. However, I am so used to the Ninja Gaiden control scheme that it is taking me longer to get used to the game. Other than that it's great. Not gonna lie, I kinda wish there was more of a cohesive story between each stage that gave a brief mission description...I would love me some more Japanese mythical culture.

:D I totally agree. I think that this game is overlooked so much. That graphics are sweet. And I just love flying around hitting stuff. Man, in Otogi 2. Near the beginning, when you go down to that room that releases some big demon. And then you have to wait for him. Then a thousand of those flying heads pop out. Sheesh, I had combos in the thousands, it was great.

Is there anyway anybody could pick up Otogi 1 and 2 and ship it to me for a small profit. I don't have any Fry's and live in stupid Nebraska where games like these are hard to find. If anybody could hook me up please send me a PM

I did not enjoy the first Otogi. I did not care for the clear one level go to title screen then start the next. I prefer a game such as Ninja Gaiden that is straight forward. I have Otogi 2 and have yet to play it.

I played the demo, but never got the game because it looked pretty shallow. I like games with some depth and story. If there weren't so many new games coming out in the next few months, I would probably give the game a shot.

Yeah I beat both of them now, but man o man you owe it to yourself to play these games. Who would have thought the makers of armored core, which i hate, could make such a damn fine japanese influenced games. Much less make it and bring it to the states Cheers to From Software and Sega for publishing it
