It felt like this got delayed so long I almost forgot about it. I'm excited to add a new shmup to the collection, so will probably pick this up sometime in November. May or may not be right away.

Just the standard edition for me though. I don't need any weird looks from the roommates with the pillowcases.

To commemorate this finally coming out I'm going to stick a fork right into my eye next week.
Why would you do that?

Wow this is actually coming out November 1st? Sweet. I was thinking my thread would get moved here, it was kinda long.

I've had this on order for almost a year now. 'Bout damn time. Now I can add this to my rotation of pillow cases. Agarest, Catherine and now this.
So is this actually coming out tomorrow?
I have no idea...
Amazon has it listed on backorder and Gamestop has listed as delayed for another week... I guess I'll find out whenever I go pick up my copy from Gamestop.

Copy/paste from thread in Video Game Deals:

I checked yesterday when picking up Sonic Generations & they didn't have it. Konami mentioned on Twitter that it only shipped yesterday, so they might not be available at all retailers.

Also, you might wanna download this to be able to be matched with people online who got the pre-order DLC ship.

LOL gotta love those Gamestop preorder exclusives!
So how is it? I gonna see about getting it today maybe b2g1f somewhere with thise in the bundle.

Figured I'd ask this here, since I thought i saw it somewhere, but it didn't seem confirmed. But for Gamestop, are they only going to have the collector edition in stock or will they also carry the regular edition. I hope for the latter, but keeping an eye on their website, I only ever find the CE version.

I believe its been confirmed that Gamestop is only ever going to carry the CE version.

Kind of stupid, I know. Looks like Amazon is the way to go if you just want a copy of the game without the pillowcase.

It will probably end up like Deathsmiles did at Gamestop. They only sold the LE at first but sold the regular one later.

My review copy finally came today. But it's only the regular version, not the special edition. Anybody want to sell me their soundtrack CD?

Thanks Zonic! Bought Kokoro and will wait to learn more about the music packs. Their store descriptions suck...

Agreed. I figured the background w/ the stages & names were the name of the songs, but they're not. I don't get why Konami didn't include the names of the song like they did with Castlevania.

This YouTube user has SOME of the remixes up, though you can only preview Madoka's since it's the only one that's up on the marketplace

On the 360, is there a way to track your play time with each game? I'd like to know how many hours I spent with this game because it is the most surprising game I've played all year. I didn't expect anything out of it, but once I got the hang of it, it was hard for me to step away from.

You can sign up on Raptr and they track your playtime in each game. Pretty cool site too and yes it is legit.

Oooh, thanks for that. I can't wait for my stats to actually show up.

Nevermind about that being hard bit. It took a bit of playing, but I figured it out. It has some frustrating parts, but getting powerups in the right order is key.

I was really rusty with my Gradius skills.

Glad you figured it out, Kiv!

That reminds me, there are two DLC levels out right now and a third on the way. The first is St. Gradius Academy, i.e. the location the girls all go to school, and the second is based on the Goemon/Legend of the Mystical Ninja series. The third will be TwinBee-themed. All are an annoyingly expensive 480 MS points and do not include Achievements (damn you Konami).
