OTT #1 - The Incredible First Issue!

I've been sitting in the basement of my house since 1pm while movers carry all of our posessions outside. really fucking hot today. movers take 10 minute breaks once an hour. my ds got left over at my parents house. making in the interewebs pretty boring on a lap top for 5+ hours.
and they're still not done....

Laughing as the people it affects wonder what happened.

There was a time, at work, when I got sick of asking other employees to do something. Having admin access to the program/server, I went in and changed everything to the way it was supposed to be... renaming, adding, deleting files as necessary.

The best part was when I started getting random questions from employees along the lines of "Hey, do you know anything about magically appearing and randomly disappearing files?" :lol:

A lot better. And a good reminder of why I've avoided manual labor jobs for the rest of my life. There's a reason to go to college, people.
Still it's definately worth paying the $5,000 for the full service pack and un-pack move.

When I first put them on, I sucked and couldn't get the hang of it (I can't ice skate, either). It wasn't until I got a hockey stick in my hands (my friends and I started playing rollerblade hockey on weekends), that I was fine. I'm not sure if having the stick as balance helped, but I think it was mostly not thinking about what I was doing and just focusing on the game. There was literally a moment where I realized that not only was I blading fine, that I was also able to go backwards and such.

I guess I just needed motivation (and a weapon in my hand)...

Plume - I used to skate when i was a little younger (12-14). I got pretty good for a while but I slipped in a puddle once on some assfault and broke my arm. That was enough to make me not want to skate ever again.

Thinking about reheating some of the sicilian pizza I scored for lunch... then again, maybe I'll bring that into the office with me tomorrow.

Some people did, but he just ignored them. For whatever reason, Cheapy made a few people mods in the chat (shipwreck and thorbahn), but they let it slide.

I've seen enough of his posts to not be surprised by your description of how he acts on Live. I always hope those types of posters are completely different in real life, but it's usually always a disappointment.

I don't know the specifics, as maybe I misunderstood or Cheapy didn't describe it well, but he mentioned that it's more like CAG is a part of VGC's affiliation program and not vice versa, like we're held hostage by them. It didn't really make sense to me, but he made getting paid seem like the only reason for keeping them on. He does mention Roufuss' coupon on the show though.

Sure it could be good for a few laughs but it does nothing to further your cause.

Also, I just finished loading up my new mp3 player. I couldn't even manage to fill a gig's worth of space. I need to find some more music.
 
I need to figure out how to dumb down this presentation I have to give on HIV and AIDS for health tomorrow. The maximum amount of time I'm allowed is 5 minutes. Un-fucking-believable.

I have now hit the letter "D," of my library's artist names that are being transferred. 5 hours left.

How sad is it that, even though I'm well aware of who she is, that I had no idea what she looked like.

I'm filling my new 80 gb ipod and I have so much music (~50 gb, but I'm sure some can put me to shame) that it won't be done transferring before I'm asleep.

Oh, it furthered my cause. People realized that if they didn't want their files fucked with, they should follow the rules/guidelines or GTFO.

Are you using USB2.0 or anything? I don't think it took more than say 1.5 hours to put 28 gb of music on my zen.

Oh, I can't wait to hear the rumors that start in my neighborhood.

Pixie left for Toronto today, so we're having her little brother's GF watch our son while I'm at work. She's 18, maybe 4'11" and looks almost EXACTLY like Christina Ricci. She's really sweet, and I like to see her with Pixie's brother, because she is a good influence on him, and I'm hoping her just-received college scholorship motivates him more with school.

Well, she took my son to the park, so I got home from work before they got back. My one neighbor on the right is on his porch with his three mid 20's daughters, and on the other side, my late 20's nurse neighbor is outside too. So, I'm on the porch having a cigarette, talking to both sides. When she got back, the three of us went inside, and that's when I noticed that the three daughters on one side started talking really quietly and glancing at us. I figured it MIGHT be a good idea to go back outside, since they were probably piecing together that Pixie packed a bunch of bags and jumped in the van and took off, and I have a young girl in my house the same night.

At any rate...it'll be interesting to see if anyone says anything to Pixie when she gets back next week...

Depends on what you're feeling. Super Sexy is a remix, so it has a lot of weird stuff going on where Astro Creep is more metal.

The time keeps varying (it says 7 hours right now), so it's not too accurate, but it's sure gonna be a while.
But yeah, I'm using USB 2.0 (I can't even imagine using 1.0 or 1.1...), but I'm transferring ~50 gb and 8300 songs.

I got invited by the elusive CAG Wulfshake, I believe. He's a lurker on the boards who I was lucky enough to stumble upon in a thread at one time or another.
