I only work 40 hours a week but by the time I get home I still have to deal with picking up and possibly putting one kid to bed.

And then since I've been getting up with the baby/toddler more lately I'm too tired to even play for that one or two hour I usually get a night.

Those days when I would just sit and play for 5 or 6 hours after work or on a day off are long, long, long gone.

 
And that is one of the main reasons I plan to be childless.  I'll fully admit to being a selfish cunt but if I'm going to be alive I'm going to live for myself, not to care for some spawn.

83, dont you have a 920 or 900? If it is the 900, just wondering your thoughts. My mom is looking for a smart phone for less than 250 that she can use with Straight Talk. I kind of think she would like the Windows interface and she doesn't care about apps.

Sorry for taking a while to get to this...I have the 920. I love it. And Windows is a great OS for phones...not so much PC's. I really dont use it for much other than texting, email, Twitter, light gaming and I have my whole Zune collection on it. The camera is nice too! Manthing could probably give you the skinny on the Luminas and other phones.

My .$02 is that I'd recommend it for anyone. Hope it helps!

 
Sent my PS3 in to get repaired....they did the repair and it failed the first diagnostics check which means that one of my chips could be bad, and unfixable.

 
I finally started playing the first Dead Rising. I'm not too impressed so far, but the game being 7 years old at this point probably has something to do with that. The mindless zombie killing parts are fun, but actually trying to accomplish anything is almost too big of a pain in the ass. The shitty aiming has pissed me off the most so far.

 
So close, yet so far from a new thread. Like it was said though, simple math seems to have killed the OTT.

X amount of people went to CAG up until recently, and Y amount of people came to OTT from original X group. X number decreased with poor economy and dropped off further with update, so naturally the Y group falls off too. Disappointed.

 
Won my first Scholarship today. I won't say how much it is for but man am I excited. When I checked my email I thought it was just one of those automated messages saying to try again next year. Almost missed out on it because I received the email yesterday and they need a response by the 9th and I NEVER even check my emails. So everything worked out great.

Community college :D ahaha not the best but I have to start somewhere. I actually took a year off because I didn't get accepted because I picked an impacted major so I thought if I picked another I would get in. Big mistake. I actually got into some 4 year schools but didn't think that those were worth the distance.

Unfortunately I've gotten out of the habit of watching The Daily Show/Colbert. I've seen John Oliver hosting a lot these past few weeks, but haven't caught where Stewart went off to.

What was Colbert about. Do I need to DVR it?

My 8 year old is obsessed with Colbert. I have no idea why.

3 day trip to Anchorage. Probably by the middle of the second day I'll be annoyed by my parents passive agressive fighting and my mom's depressing comments and be ready to return home. Add that to the fact there will be 10 people living in this house at one time...

I'm just going to let my mind going into sleep mode and just run all tasks in the background. Observation, no interaction.

He is making a movie right now and will be back in a couple of weeks.

Colbert was great because Daft Punk was going to be on, but they had to cancel. The resulting chaos was fantastic.

will be glad to be home tomorrow morning. so thankfull ive had books and mobile games on my phone to entertain me while i keep kids separate or wait for decisions to be made.

no idea why my parents still call chinese food 'oriental'.
 
I was thinking of getting a SSD drive for my 3 year old netbook and saw a 120GB Samsung 840 for $90 at Amazon.

Worth it? I mostly use it for internet and word processing. The only games I play on it are Plants vs. Zombies and Solitaire.

3 year old Netbook?  Probably not...then again I'm about to drop 200 on a new video chip for my 4 year old Asus laptop, so who am I to judge.

 
SSDs are the bomb! But not sure how much difference it would make in an old netbook. At the very least, though, you've got something that is highly reliable.

You may want to wait. The Samsung 120 GB EVO's come out this month and the regulars may drop in price a little more. Right now there's a $20 price difference on the old and the new.

Also, if you upgrade to a 250 GB drive it's around 50% faster.

See, my problem is the egg. If it was just a waffle with sausage that you could dip in syrup, that would be perfect. I prefer ketchup with my eggs and that just won't do with waffles and sausage.

What is should be is a waffle with a sausage patty surrounding a sausage link. That way when you look at it from the top it looks like someone is slapping his penis on a vulva

A red eye flight with me getting no sleep before and during the flight (damn Restless Leg attack) does not make for a happy camper at all.

Once these kids are in bed (and dear god that better be soon) I'll probably be going there too.

Problem is, I've already had two cups of coffee and an energy drink, so now I've got to down a few Gin & Tonics before I can fall asleep.

Unfortunately I have to do the next two days in Hemeatolgoy. I hate working the same department two nights in a row.

Maybe I'll actually get to fire up the :ps3: tonight. But judging by the late hour I get home and other activities, probably not.

Playing through Dragon Age 2 for now. It's not that bad so far. I don't quite see why it got so much hate.
