OTT = Off Topic Thread (or Off Topic Topic). Basically it's a core group of CAGs that tend to frequent each OTT. There's a small race to see who is first in the new one, who makes the new one, who is last in one, etc.

Some also play the "GET game," which is getting the 50th, 100th, 150th, etc. post.

I dunno about e-penor levels. Yes?

Sometimes we all talk about the same stuff, sometimes it's just a sort of pseudo-metablog for everyone.

I have insomnia too btw.
 
Sleep is overrated anyways...that's even more time wasted that could be used for something productive.

Mornin OTT. Slept wrong last night so now my back and neck feel broken. I think today shall be filled with God of War 2 playing. Also, I watched Afro Samurai series last night .. I thought it was a pretty good show.

Funny you should ask cause thats exactly what I was reading when I put him on my ignore list. :lol:

In nearly all his posts he literally makes absolutely no sense. Its like he just puts random words together and peppers them with the names of Lost characters. I'll try my own sample post:

I think Juliet found rocks in the pirate ship next to Rousseaus radio tower cause it would be cool if signaling from the satellite phone when Locke killed a polar bear. But I dont think Walt flips switches under ground and then dragons come out. Remember when they said about dragons?

Today feels like a Summer day. But nope, I have school the rest of this week, and until Wednesday next week. I have three papers due this week! :bomb:

That's why I'm up relatively early today. Already eaten breakfast, gonna shower soon, and then a full day of working on papers. Normally I'd be getting up at 10:30 on a day off, but not today.

Some stupid MATLAB shit. Tech is using this new software, T Square which is similar to WebCT and Blackboard and I was to submit a fine labeled lab1.m through there and shit. Well, apparently the file disappeared so I got a zero on that part. This has happened a total of two times now that I have uploaded a file and then the file disappeared. Good thing these "labs" only count for 5% of my grade. I am very very glad I checked the homework several times to make sure it was still there (I had to upload it again too, this time I did it from the school's systems).

writing classes are the worst. they never teach you what you need to know.

the best way to write is to start talking out loud about what you want to say.

then write it down.

then read it outloud - see how it doesn't make any fucking sense?

then rewrite - wash rinse repeat.

writing is thinking - not grammar, punctuation, making an argument blah blah blah - all that stuff will come when you use writing as a method to articulate your thoughts.
