TMK, if you don't post a blog for a few days/week(s), if you don't update an OP right away, if you miss a game night once or twice a week.. I don't think people are going to care. I really, really don't.
You'd be surprised actually, a few times I skipped out on running a game night (due to certain reasons) or even times I didn't log onto AIM for a while (due to wanting to get things done), some have gotten pissed or even sad (I'm not joking).

You don't *owe* them anything, so why should you care. Unless someone is a good friend or significant other or family member, you don't need to cater to their every whim and take their issues as your problems.

TMK, you know what job would suit you? Community manager at a game company. Because it sounds like that's exactly what you're doing now but only for free.

Posts on game board: "Hey! That patch that was just downloaded is causing lag when I play online." "Yeah, I noticed that, too. Is it going to be fixed?" "Count me in too, guys. Maybe they'll release a new patch."

Comm Mgr' TMK's response: "AHHHH! Stop stressing me!!!"

On that note, off to the auto parts store I go.
So do I. All this forum posting (along with getting swarmed by IM messages) and other stuff has been stressing me out lately. I'm thinking about taking a few days off playing games alone and doing other things.

I use to just remove those I didn't see online for a bit. Now that no longer works (people are signed on enough), so I have to look into other factors. But it's not just friends, I get stressed because I have game nights 6 days a week now, and every single one of them, I end up having to be the one hosting. I end up doing most all coordinating since I learned most people don't do it right, or barely care about putting the time into it.

But oh well, I just need to find something else to do. Now I kind of regret telling a friend of mine I wouldn't go paintballing with him a few years ago (all because I never tried it). There's no denying I can be a little reluctant to try new activities (waiting for an OTT member to say it's all because of one disease).

EDIT: I'm a tad bummed because one girl who I basically helped out with all her homework (she didn't exactly have too high of a GPA), she freaking got a job before me. :whistle2:( However, where she got in an area I don't think I'd go (It was in Colorado Springs).
Hey TMK, if you want to take over my responsibilities for the next couple of years, i'll manage your friends list for you.

I'd also be very quick to delete blog posts or whatever if they bash the company. ;) :p

I was thinking that would be a good job for me, or being one of those PlayStation promotion people. One of those people who travels to various events in the PlayStation truck, trying to show off PlayStation games and so on. Or even, they at times hire someone to showcase SingStar at particular retailers. That would be a perfect job for me (going to retailers all over the U.S. showing off SingStar games). I'd make sure to do "Toxic" and "Get the Party Started". ;)

I wonder what other jobs would suit me well also. I know I honestly don't seem like some sort of Engineer or Tech guy.
Thank ye.

Add me to your friends list :bouncy:
Down the road I'll get to it. I gotta sort through what I have right now (a mess) first. That's what I pretty much told everyone else.

Now Battlefield Bad Company is not worth 20 bucks. Go lower, 10-15 dollar range.

Speaking of GS, I cant believe there is not a single game out right now that I want.....maybe I will pick up Saints Row 2 finally.

Ugh, I don't see myself playing much more of Full Auto 2.

I gotta stop getting games because they're so cheap, even on a mew system.
Ugh, these PS3 'triggers' blow for racing games.
I'm perfectly fine with them (although I'll admit that's the only issue I have with the controller) for racing games, but for some racers (such as DiRT, GT5P, Ridge Racer 7, etc.) I prefer sticking to pressing the X button for gas.
You can do my boring as hell business communications work, my stats homework and my business management work.
Stats sounds fun. ;) I didn't do any business work in college though, so I can't really say whether I would like it or not.

I already just picked up Halo 3 yesterday with my Target raincheck.

It's that bad?

I thought so....the single player is god awful. Just a cookie cutter plot with really bad voice acting that is compiled of stupid jokes.AI is just plain non existent.

But even the multiplayer doesnt save it because you ALWAYS know exactly where everyone is because you can see there name through buildings.

I dont know...I just really hated constantly being shot in the back not because of another players skill but because they can see me through 3 feet of solid steel.

Destructible environments were nice though but thats about it.

@Manthing.

I like Front lines better even though there was still a ton of things wrong with it also. Pre patch was almost painful to play post patch made it more enjoyable but it wound up getting traded in anyway. Neither game was that great in my opinion but frontlines lasted WAY longer than BFBC.

I need a new 360 game now....I dont see one that I like. Trading in Madden and GoW2 today and would like to pick up a team based FPS but they seemingly just dont make those for 360.

I wonder if a lot of people are still playing RB6V2, I enjoyed the first one a lot.

I got it for $20 back in the spring, and haven't touched the MP

Haha, same here

It really sucks that FEAR 2, SF4, and RE5 are the only things that look good in the first quarter. Killzone looks like it could be good, but I am going to hedge on it.
I wish PSN would step it's PSX game up.

Sooo many good PS1 gaymes they could put up
The reason was explained once on PS3 Fanboy when there was an interview with Yoshida:
Where are all the PS1 games? We chatted with SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida about the lack of PS1 downloadable titles in America, and he admitted it frankly: "I'd like to see more games on that as well ... we haven't done enough with third party publishers."

In Japan, companies like Square Enix and Konami have supported the PSN by re-releasing treasured PS1 classics onto the PS Store. However, the rest of the world's catalog has been quite lacking. Yoshida explained that these digital downloads don't offer much profit, calling the potential monies "insignificant." He also noted that there are many issues involving licensing, especially with the music found in older games. That usually adds to the difficulty of bringing back PS1 games.

While lamenting the lack of PS1 support on the PSN, he did ask us a favor: "Maybe if you can convince the third parties."

And there are some publishers, who flat out admitted (like Working Designs) that their games will never end up on the PS Store, mostly due to their bad relationship with SCEA (Vic Ireland made that post at GAF, saying the only way Arc The Lad could appear on the U.S. Store would be for SCEA to re-translate it themselves. Vic Ireland certainly isn't allowing SCEA to use the work he did).

I kind of really want to get Battlefield because it's only $20. :whistle2:k

I think I might grab a Wii point card at GS so I can dl Zoda's Revenge.

I'm tempted to get rid of GOW2, haven't played it in a while, can never get in on any MP games. Playing with randoms sucks on any game.

This is epic.
It's because of all the thread managing I have to do, blog writing, and just people love to pick on TMK also. With the responsibilities I have, at this rate I'll never get a job (but I'm still trying).

And now I'm busy doing some investigation because again, after I cleared out open spaces on my PSN buddy list again, it fills up right away. What does almost everyone want to be my friend when I specifically say on CAG PSN gaming don't add me? Not everyone who adds me comes from CAG, many have come from various countries around the world along with various forums (I've probably had 300 friend requests sent to me total). That stresses me out a bit having to deal with it.

I make cut back on posting (we'll see, I rarely do it) to work on my backlog of video games. I did it a few times last year and it worked.
This is even more epic.

Reign Over Me is a pretty good movie, i'm surprised at how good Adam Sandler is in it, i've never really cared for his other serious stuff.

I wish PSN wouldn't be such a bitch today. Yesterday I downloaded Castlevania in less than 8 minutes (it is 335 MB). Today Wipeout has taken an hour and it is not even halfway done.

Liv Tyler looks fat in it.

Daddy pays for everything though, remember?

I'm not sure if I should buy Super Mario Bros. 3, or (I am shamed) Defend Your Castle on the VC.

I've just played SMB3 so much that Defend Your Castle is tempting.

It took me forever to get Wipeout yesterday, and it's take about 2 and 1/2 hours to get R&C. PSN stinks. You get what you pay for.

Every once in a while, I'm put on a slower server to download and by doing that can switch it. I still remember the day when Wipeout HD came out (the big huge PS Store update day), my download for that was running on the slow side. I just paused and restarted (took like 2-3 times) and it was fast. I'll still never forget with the R2 beta, it was going crazy slow (it was like 2.5GB or so). I paused and restarted the download at like 30 or so percent. Once I did, I probably had the fastest download I ever had (around 3-4MB per second).
Why doesn't he just get a job? I don't get it. How old is he?
I've applied to quite a number of jobs and have already sent my resume to many (so far I've applied to around 30 positions total at various companies). Either positions get filled, don't get called, told I didn't fit their qualifications, and other crap.

I'm SUPPOSED to hear back from a company one of my Dad's friends is at, but I was told he wouldn't be sending me anything until tomorrow (since that's when they get back to work).
