Even after playing Bully for a few hours, I still feel emo. I'm gonna try to do some homework now but I feel like my loneliness has been overwhelming me the whole day. I wish I could take a couple quarters off to be with my boyfriend until he comes back to the States, but he or anyone else would not like that.
I'm debating picking that up, though damn, $50 or $60? :whistle2:s

This makes my inner CAG cry.
Guess it's time to try out my CAGFu and find it cheaper. :D

It just came out yesterday. It's not likely be much cheaper, save online or with store credit.
My girlfriend just texted "I'm in your couch, watching your TV", from the other room. How win is that?
Depends.

Does she look good?
I changed it awhile ago... I stopped using XBLA for the most part after the Best Buy deal where I got a shit ton of points cards.

Since then, there has been nothing worth buying a new points card over.

The only games for me will be Worms, Alien Hominid, and Castle Crashers. Probably will get Ms Pac-Man since I have 400 spare points.
Basically, retro games can suck my cock.

Don't get me wrong, I love the classics... but I'm not so keen on pre-Atari arcade titles.

I think XBLA should ween away from those and go the opposite direction of the VC (which I'm not sold on, regardless) and release new titles that play like classics... which they've done, certainly. I just wish they'd do it more and have some more quality titles (ala-Hexic, Geometry Wars, Marble Blast, etc.).

I love classics. They've just been releasing the wrong ones.
Lost Planet is pretty cool.
I'm a couple missions in and I'm really liking it so far. There's a very cinematic feel to the gameplay. Still have to try out multiplayer sometime tonight, but it's really good from what I've been hearing.

Lost Planet is pretty good, but it really needs a run button. I know you're running through snow, but come on, at least when I'm inside.

I agree with you... for some reason, I don't know, after getting burned on Cloning Clyde I don't want to throw my money towards any unproven franchise.

While it was a good game, it has no replayability, no one plays multiplayer anymore, and it just kind of sits on my hard drive not doing much of anything.

I see alot of these newer games being like this. Small Arms won't be worth shit once the multiplayer aspect dies (which it probably already did).
Just made myself some scrambled eggs for dinner. Six of them. Might have been too much.
that's a lot of fucking eggs.
At least it had a multiplayer aspect. What's the point of Streets of Rage with no one to play with?
At least it HAS a single player mode that has replayability. I think i've gone through Streets of Rage like 25 times.

I'll never go through Cloning Clyde again =/

Lumines was awesome though... it's sad MS fucked that one up so bad. I only ended up paying about $2 for it... if they didn't screw it up it would be the best XBLA they have.

Until SOTN.

How does CD buffing look?

I've got some free CD buffing cards for GameCrazy, and I got a few PS2 discs I need buffed.

Does it just smooth it right down, or some shit?

I'm more concerned with how it looks, obviously. (As I am weird, obviously.)

well if its like the disc doctor then i dont think your weirdness would like a buffed cd since it doesn't look "clean."

Why? Does it scratch it?

They have one of those big buffing machines.

Don't they just scratch the whole disc so it's all on the same level?

My cousin has a Game Doctor, and afterwards the CDs look like... I don't know. Different.

I've had Gamecrazy buffed discs come out perfect. It really depends on a number of things, one of which might be employee competency.

I'm not really sure why they turn out differently though.

Its not like Game Doctor. Game Doctor is shit.

I bought some used PS2 games, and they're scratched and just eat at my soul.

They came in mint, complete cases... but discs just don't match.

My friend gave me his free buffing coupons, so I'm gonna get the buffed tomorrow and hope they look better.

One of the games is God of War. Very nice, non-GH case... but they gave me a fuckin' GH disc, which was in nice condition. I returned the disc today, but they only had one, scratched non-GH disc. I took it, because I don't want that mismatched... but it's bugging the shit out of me.

Can't play them 'til they're smooth. It's just not right.

I dont have to pay for disc buffings at 3 of the gamecrazys in town. They're all so close to here, I visit and buy stuff all the time.

I've probably gotten 20 free ones by now.

There's only one in my area, and all of the employees know my name because I go in there all the time.

(I'm not sure if that's a good thing.)

Personally I just want retro games with online play. Gimme a good fighting game with online play and I am happy (a la UMK3).
Same thing I am, I guess.

Which is why I wish Nintendo would HURRY THE fuck UP and release their ethernet adapter so I can play my Wii online YOU SLACKERS.
I wasn't aware that there was any games that were online. I'd just tell you to get a wireless router, it makes it so easy and so simple to get online.
Ok, so I moved the dongle from the back of my computer to the top of my tower with the USB cable, and it works... can the answer really be that simple / stupid?
I'm glad to see that it's working properly for you now. All I had to do was install, then plug the adapter into the back of my laptop, and it worked.

I got some bad news, it seems that the package of PSP/Wii games wasn't forwarded correctly. It also says that they tried delivering it directly (WTF?) and left a note, to which I was here all day yesterday and saw or heard nothing, then they took it back to the post office. I guess I'll have to call my old complex's office and see if they got it or head to the post office and see if the DC message was truthful and they have it there. I guess I'll be getting up early tomorrow.

Got my Wii setup as well. Also had an issue with my router - turns out that Wii doesnt work with WPA2 security and my router, so i had to change it to WPA. Boo.

It worked fine with the DS no problem, even from rooms away. It's only when I hooked up the Wii it couldn't detect now more than less than a foot away. I read somewhere someone moved it from the back to the front and it worked, and sure enough, it did.

Been having alot of fun with Wii Sports today... do I really need to wear the wrist strap? I haven't even come close to having the control slip out of my hands and the strap has just been dangling there.

Woot. Under Seige is on! With Gary Busey, thaty blond from baywatch before she went all fat, and Steven Segal!

That Steven Segal clip bit on Talk Soup was funny as hell. "Damn, that's Syphilis."

I love how the lack of anything on causes me to watch some rather-meh shows. Since I can't find anything else on, the past two weeks I've been watching Las Vegas. It's not a bad show but there's a lot of shows I'd much rather be watching.
