[OUT AGAIN] Get Lost Planet 2 Versus Demo Codes NOW! [360/PS3] (Activates 3/31|4/1)

It tells me to sign in even though I did several times already, so I guess I'm out of luck =/.

If anyone has an extra code, I would really appreciate if I could get one sent my way too, thanks!
 
Just played a round. You guys aren't really missing much...

There's not even a benefit to having it 'early', really (I expected you'd have limited access to unlockables, but that's not the case).

It's a pretty generic deathmatch demo (only saw one level, not sure if there are more). It was a ruined temple area with a Domination game type (Data Post Control, other mode available being Elimination). Not much in terms of guns, but this could just be limited to the level.

And when you finish the round, it says 'Coming Soon' and kicks you back to the main menu.

I'm not really complaining, but I just figured there'd be more to it than that. You don't keep any EXP that you gain in matches, and you can only (slightly) customize your weapon loadout [not entirely sure what this does, as I was limited to a machine gun the entire time, but I did see someone pop out a shield].

Bring on the full game already!

Ok I got one of their early access codes, and after finding out the PS3 demo finally went live I tried entering my code, but unfortunately it's not working. Anyone having similar problems? Did they give away the same code to people?

Yeah, mine's not working either.
 
Your best bet right now is to go on the capcom-unity forums and see if anyone else has the same issue. Make a post in any relevant topics, and I'm sure they'll do something to fix it. Same issue happened with a few 360 codes I hear. You could also try bugging their Twitter (@Lost_Planet).

I have a 360 so no personal experience, sorry :(
 
Well I went on twitter, their forums and explained my problem. It seems there are still a lot of people on the xbox side who still can't redeem it, and might be that i'm SOL. This is great.

Have you gotten your code to work? No luck here, it says that my codes already been redeemed, which can't be true.

I tried my own code as well as a code that was being given out by a gaming news site on twitter and I get the same error:The code is invalid or was input wrong.

Apparently we're not alone and since everyone and their mother is clamoring for a code as well as people like you and me whose codes don't work, it might be a while before capcom comes out with a solution.

I've given this game two chances now - one in an earlier beta, and this "demo". I definitely hate this game.

I'm sure the SP will be okay, though.. it's just the MP that I hate.
 
Thanks for the code. Unfortunately I only have a PS3 atm. But I also heard people were having the same problems with the 360 as well.

Well if it's anything like the first MP game than I'll probably like it alright. The game definitely requires you to have an "acquired taste" for it as you can call it. It's definitely not for everyone.
 
I can't aim using the analog stick. It keeps swerving.

And it seems a lot of people have no problem.

I hope it's compatible with the PS3 Move. I still prefer the traditional mouse on a pc for FPSs...
 
Loving this game but does anyone else notice the weird not being able to shoot sometimes when your being shot? Feels alittle off...

Hope more codes hit soon, Friend needs a 360 one.
 
You can set the sensitivity and speed while in a match, back button with the 360 but dunno what it is for the PS3. The deal with being stunned is if you're being heatshot which a machine gun or something then that's what happens. This is why close up machine gun battles are lame. And why in the actual game the majority of matches will probably not default with machine gun.

Got a working code for PS3 from a Destructoid "contest." To those that are trying to get in: IT BLOWS! They didn't change a damn thing from Lost Planet 1. Same clunky controls, same trudging pace and same stiff unavoidable damage animations. I really think they are drumming up false hype by doing this early access mp bs. I am severely disappointed. Thanks Capcom, you just saved me $60.
 
You don't need to start whining about how it sucks because you don't like arcadey shooters. It's not hard to just admit that you don't like this style of game. It's like how I don't like CoD realistic type shooters, just because I don't like them doesn't make them bad.

So I couldn't play the game because the geniuses over at capcom unity decided to recycle the codes they've handed out. Luckily I was able to gameshare the demo from my friend, despite what people are saying that you couldn't.

Game is exactly like the first game. It's different but it definitely takes getting used to, so I'm not completely in love with it. But it's ok by my standards. Anyone know how to roll in the game? I see people do it, but don't know how to do it myself.
