I don't know where all the hate for DD comes from. They are not as good as a nice bakery pastry, but come on. That's like expecting a steak from Burger King.
Also, getting free stuff form an eatery when they are about to close is the best, especially when you're a kid with no money. We use to get leftovers all the time from a pizza place near our elementary school.

LMAO oh man you guys really need to listen to the news more often. KK was padding their numbers (pulling an Enron some would say) to make it seem they were performing better than they were. Turns out they weren't the next biggest thing, they only led the public to believe they were. That's why tons of them ended up closing practically overnight, happened to all the ones around me as well. Now you can only get KK donuts around here at the supermarket, which doesn't really bother me because when I do get donuts I just get them at DD (I drink their coffee).
