Overstock mistake: Neon Genesis Platinulion collection for $8.03 + tax

No I paid with my debit card on day one when the deal first came up. My order should be arriving tomorrow, tracking said it was in Greensboro NC as of today. Any of you other CAG's order go through?

Must be nice. I still haven't gotten any word from overstock, but they did ship the Frighteners to me. Of course they didn't send the other 2 dvd's though, because then i wouldn't be able to yell at them some more. I will go thru hell later tonite.

how do you tell if its shipped or not?
 
They sent me an e-mail telling me it shipped, so I checked my overstock account. I checked order status and it showed that I ordered on 10-30-05, status was accepted, and it shipped on 12-09-05 via USPS. Item price $6.63 + $1.40 shipping= $8.03 total. I also had a tracking # posted.

Ok, I did a live chat with a rep about a week ago asking whats going on with my order. She says there out of stock and refunded my money. So Im like, ok whatever. So today I get a oackage with the DVDs in it! So I got 2 of these for the low price of FREE!!!!:bouncy:

I could be honest and tell them but I hate ovcerstock and the deserve it hehe

Nice they gave me a 5 dollar coupon..but it expired on 11/10.. so that was about useless i guess there was a timelimit on that damn thing which is basically useless..
 
The nice part about it is that they put it on my acct on 11/10 and it expired the same day.. just wanted to clarify that.

What's the best way to buy the two movies that aren't included in this set? Is there a double-pack of the movies available somewhere?
 
I think they are both in the ADV sale that is going on right now. Check out the "Yet Another ADV Sale" thread in the dvd section.

No, they're not. Manga Entertainment published the two films, not ADV.

Again: you do not need both movies. This collection + the end of eva tell the full story. the other movie is just bits and pieces of those two, spliced together for promotional purposes.

I gave up and went to Wal-Mart last week and bought it for $40-something. Watched it already and it is very good. Feel good about the purchase and is a keeper.

The platinum or complete?

The platinum is for sale many places last I looked. Average price is about $50.

At Wal-Mart B&M it is about $46.

The complete collection does appear to cost more. My Hastings still has at least one copy for sale. I can't remember how much it was though.

Thanks for the correction. I thought they were in the sale but I think I was just seeing the two directers cut dvds.

Well, I got a popup that said it was good until 2015, and I believe other CAGs did as well. So it should definitely be appearing on your cart when you try to check out, unless there's a problem of some kind...

I had issues with their coupons in the past. If it's like the ones I've dealt with, you may have to order atleast one non media item for the coupon to be applied.
