Owen Wilson Tries to Commit Suicide

I really like Owen. Sure, he has done some mediocre films but he has also done excellent work with Wes Anderson. I hope he's okay and he gets any help he needs.

His work with Anderson is always phenomenal (as is Anderson's work). But even in mediocre films such as Starsky and Hutch, he still provides an entertaining role.
 
Might of done it cause of his jacked up nose...


Really though it was just a slit wrist. We all know thats a cry for help. Plus he was on a ton of pills.

Couldn't read the article, but I actually like him less now. No guy should be trying to kill himself like some emo girl, it makes him look like an attention whore.

Granted he's in Hollywood for a reason...
 
I hope he gets some help. He seems like a good guy.

There was some reporter who was trying to interview his brother Luke Wilson (who is also an actor). He's was talking about his brother and speculating on why he was having problems. You can see the clip here:

Seriously though, without more details I wonder if this is an issue of "getting a nasty cut on his left arm while drunk" getting blown out of proportion.

I like Owen Wilson well enough as an actor, and just on a human level I feel for the guy if he's messed up enough to be trying suicide. I'd like to be all morally outraged by comments like this, but it's kind of tough to get the outrage going when I'm laughing this hard.

I think the bitter reaction from CAGs is because this guy has everything, a great career, lots of money, girls throwing themselves at him, and he tries to throw it all away.

Did anyone see "The Minus Man"; it's the only movie he actually acted in.

Too bad it wasn't Luke Wilson. Owen at least has some personality. Watching Luke in a movie is like watching the Extra Robots in I-robot.
 
As soon as he's fully recovered, Vince Vaughn needs to give him a patented riot act reading/asskicking/motivational speech.

I'm glad there are only calloused and immature regrets being posted here, not calloused and immature 'eulogies'.
