PAL DLC, PAL Disc, can I redeem on US console?

I purchased FF XIII-2 limited edition bundle from the UK and I'm expecting to receive it shortly from my friend overseas. The bundle includes some DLC which I would like to redeem on my US console. Is this possible? I dug around online about US consoles, with US versions of the game trying to redeem UK codes, .. but nothing about UK versions of the game with UK codes.

Is the DLC region locked regardless of which version of the game you own?

You just need to make a new account for whatever region your game is, since only the DLC will be region locked.

So once I redeem the DLC and download it to my drive, the game should run with the added content? Cool. Thanks!
