Quote from the article :
“To me, it motivates us, makes us work that much harder,” she told the influential Christian leader, whose radio show reaches millions of listeners daily. “And it also strengthens my faith because I know at the end of the day putting this in God’s hands, the right thing for America will be done, at the end of the day on Nov. 4.”

Thanks for doing the right thing, God.
and all you liberals thought god didnt exist
Well, there's really no evidence to support the case for any "God" existing, but that's not really the point of the thread.

Teh ironiez are teh delicious.
and all you liberals thought god didnt exist
Now I'm not so sure the republicans do.

Kind of reminds me of the couple who had an ill child and refused to take them to the doctor. They said their prayers would be enough healing for the child. The kid died shortly thereafter.
damn.. if I knew the whole "voting thing" didn't matter I wouldn't have voted.
Well it does matter. You vote so that you don't have to put up with the lynch mob that says "You can't have an opinion if you didn't vote!!!" whenever you speak an opinion. That's the most important reason to vote.
I sincerely hope I never see this woman's face ever again in national politics. That video reminded me why.
I do - in the National Politics 2008 Swimsuit Calendar!

Explain please! I checked the Wikipedia page, and there's no mention of Christian Science regarding his death. Just curious.

Dunno about that - I do know it was a Law and Order episode though.

The original Battlestar Galactica was based on Mormon mythology.

I'm interested in this Bastillestar Galactica - is that the one where the cylon attack is led by Robespierre?

I'll handle this.

A very tempermental Kermit the Frog required Jim Henson to shoot on location in the swamp.

Swamps are very notorious for diseased environments.

Jim Henson got a cold and it developed into pneumonia.

His medical surrogate, Fozzy the Bear, had entered hibernation a few days beforehand and was unavailable.

Without a medical surrogate, the matter was left in God's hands and that's why somebody else's hand is up Ernie's ass these days.

I'm sorry for not loving Jesus and America. I'll start voting for creationism now because the book told me to.

This is religion:
