I keep buying games for it! I get addicted to buying vintage games. Post your stories and experiences about this system.

I was looking into 3DO games a while ago. Unfortunately the system lacks that one exclusive great game. The one where it's actually worth owning the system for. Does the 3DO even have any original titles? All the good games like SSFT2, Gex, Road Rash, Return Fire, etc. can be found on other platforms anyways.

I first bought a 3DO (FZ-10) when I was a sophomore in high school, right at the end of the system's life cycle. It was my first 32-bit system and I actually spent a fair amount of time with it. I was able to build a sizable collection quickly and cheaply as retailers were clearing out stock after release of the Playstation and Saturn.

I have a nearly complete US library and still pick it up from time to time. Some of my favorite 3DO games would be: Return Fire, Wing Commander III, Battlesport, Lost Eden, Need for Speed, Gex, Star Control II, and PO'ed.

I want a 3do but haven't gotten around to tracking one down yet. What it lacks in system-specific exclusives, it makes up for in random games that I want to try different ports of. For example, I'd love to try the 3do ports of Super Street Fighter 2 and Samurai Shodown. I already have something like 5 or 6 different ports of Doom but I have yet to try the apparently dreadful 3do port.

I have most games that I want for this system complete, except for Lucienne's Quest. It rarely shows up on ebay and last time I checked, it went for too much.

Here is a rundown of the EIGHT 3DO games I bought in the past TWO DAYS!! Lmao I love this. (All complete)

Gridders - $6.75 shipped

Trip'd - $5 shipped

Killing Time - 3DO, $17.50 shipped!

A seller wanted 25 bucks, but I talked him down to $17.50 shipped. It's complete. No long box though. Man, I've always wanted this game ever since I saw the ad for it in GameFan magazine back in 96. This is awesome... =)

I see no one has reviewed it, perhaps I will take the liberty to do that myself in a few weeks, eh?

Well GOT damn son!! Just ordered FIVE more 3DO games!!! O___O :D

WOW. This is simply amazing... So in total, that's 8 3DO games within 2 days.

Kingdom: The Far Reaches - Jewel case, complete - $5 shipped

Super Street Fighter II Turbo - complete, long box - $17 shipped

^ Best home version right here. Yes!

Samurai Shodown - complete, long box - $10 shipped

Demolition Man - complete, long box - $10 shipped

Way of the Warrior - complete, long box - $10 shipped

^ A sick exclusive digitized fighter.

Well guys, this is simply amazing. On top of this, I'm bidding on about 3 more. So we'll see what happens. Sad to say, I was outbid on Blade Force by 25 cents.

:]

Expensive system, at the time, around 600-700 dollars. Handled FMV really well. The controllers were just horrible, very stiff, unresponsive. I think my favorite game on the system was Road Rash, best version of that game.

I have a Panasonic 3DO system but haven't played it much. I only have a couple games like Gex but it lacked must have exclusive titles for me at least compared to other retro systems. Also, most games on 3DO were ported to other systems.

when i was on vacation in japan this past november, i hit 1 game shop that had 5 stacked for around $40-$60 US each.... i didn't have the space for 1 though :(

Yeah, it was very expensive. I finally got one when I was in college for $300. But not many games compared to saturn and playstation.
