Papa John's....
They still give those out at my place.
We still get garlic and pizza sauce without having to ask too. I do miss the spice shakers though.
I was told that real Italian Pizza is basically like little crackers with a shred or few of cheese, no sauce, but slices of (cooked?) vegetables such as tomatoes instead. Nothing like the pizza we know and love.
I lived in Italy for about 6 months and all the pizza I had was definitely lighter than the pizza here and they don't use nearly as much cheese but I definitely wouldn't describe it like a cracker. There is a crust but it's typically about the same thickness as the rest of the pie (maybe a little thicker) and definitely not bread-like or doughy as you would find in the US. Also the sauce is more like stewed or chopped tomatoes rather than something with a uniform consistency. They use a lot of fresh basil on top too and I don't recall ever being able to order a slice - you just got a personal pizza. It is so freaking good. Remember though - if you order a pepperoni pizza you are going to be getting peppers on top!

Pizza's pizza. The old saying goes - "There's no such thing as bad pizza". It doesn't matter whether it's Pizza Hut, NY style, or Chicago deep dish. If it was laid out in front of you, you'd eat it. And you can't deny that.

Yeah I heard Italian pizza doesn't even normally have meat on it and that meat's an American thing.

The mrs. and I have become extremely fond of Super Walmart's Take & Bake pizzas. Prices range from $6-$7 depending on toppings.
