At the pawn I found some good DVDs again for 4 for $20...and the following games.

Ninja Gaiden $18
Chronicles of Riddick $17 ( I bought )
Need for Speed Underground CUB $18

What do you think?
 
Good finds. Most pawn shops seem to be places where they have nothing or something great. And you got something great. But are the games in good condition?
 
The games are in EXCELLENT condition. :) It's in a not so good area of town so I guess they have to lower their prices. It looked brand new and plays brand new. They had 2 Gaidens when I left.
 
i am going to have to start going to pawn shops. the ones around me are in a not so good part of town,so maybe i can find something.

our pawn shop kicks butt they sell all their used games for 12 bucks

in early july picked up FF X-2 for 12.00 Nascar 2004 for 12

but their dvds is what rocks

Star trek voyager season 2 sealed get ahold of this 35 bucks


i pass them both up cause i thought to myself who in the hell would spend 120 bucks on star trek and give it to pawn shop for 5-16 bucks probally was ripped from a store and didnt fell like having the cops knock on my door again ( that happened to me once in 96 when i got a stolden snes from a pawn shop)
 
Does the pawn shop refund your money if the police determine it was stolen? It seems like the pawn shop should be holding the merchandise for some length of time.

4 for 20 DVDs! SCORE!

Gaiden and Riddick are good for that price, and I suppose NFS is also...but my 5.00 copy from the pawnshop makes yours look 'spensive. LOL

Gaiden and Riddick are good for that price, and I suppose NFS is also...but my 5.00 copy from the pawnshop makes yours look 'spensive. LOL

Yeah man, I got a freshly stolen Grandia II two days after release from my pawn shop at 19.99 - a nice 30 dollar discount.

At least, I assume it was stolen. Then again, I assume everything at a pawn shop is stolen.

Doesn't really matter, IMO, if you don't KNOW it's stolen then you're not in the wrong. Now if they say "yeah, some guy ripped this off of a wal-mart, 5 bucks and it's yours" than I see a problem.

Just pay with cash and give a wrong name if asked. Or say you don't have your Drivers License...they can't trace you. :)

If I was afraid of getting stolen merchandise, I'd stay pretty far from Pawn Shops... heh ;-)
 
The DVDs I got were Bad Boys 2, Varsity Blues, Something's Gotta Give (for the rents') and Win a Date with Tad Hamilton (for my sister).

On my way home yesterday I stopped by one... and picked up Final Fantasy X-2 for ten bucks... whe I actually get done with X, I can play this one... :D
