I spent 165 dollars and ended up with:

1x PS2 slim line (100 bucks)
1x PS2 sony 8MB memory card (free with the PS2)
1x Tekken 4 (10 bucks)
1x Kingdom Hearts (10 bucks)
1x Devil May Cry 3 (10 bucks)
1x MTV music generator 3 (i loved the first title... 10 bucks)
1x LOZ Ocarina of Time (5 bucks grey cart)
1x RE 2 N64 (5 bucks)
1x Bomberman Hero (5 bucks)

I thought I got a great deal. what do you guys think?

Assuming the PS2 works then yeah that was an overall great deal. DMC 3 for $10 sounds good to me. I didn't even know they had an MTV music generator 3, I remember playing/using the 1st one years ago and thinking it was pretty good.

i tested it all the games/systems before i left the store.. it runs as great as a PS2 could.. it looks and feels brand new.. in regards to the MTV music gen.. its different from the first one as you have a lot more options to do more "electronic" or "hip hop" type stuff.. but its cool none the less.

I wish I had some pawn shops to hit up after reading about all the stuff people find here. The one they used to have just disappeared one day, I never even had a chance to go check it out.

I wish there were pawn shops around here with things of interest. I also loved the original MTV Music Generator.

Same time, same topic posts? That's kinda freaky.

i love this pawn shop... this is the same one i got MVC 2 for 15 bucks.. i live in a small(er) town with only wal mart and kmart as the only places that sell "new" games.. and i've heard stories of wives just pawning off husband's "old" v-game systems.. i come across cool new games too for ridiculously low prices (like 10 for RE4 like a month after it was out).. so yeah.. i usually make a check at my pawn shops like once every week.. most of the time its a crap shoot.. but other times.. really cool stuff (i have yet to see them sell an Xbox yet ... )..

if your residence is broken into and you find that all your valuable electronics are gone, go check the local pawnshop, you will find a couple of your stuff there. Just hope they dont find out about gamerush.

on a serious note, most stuff you find at a pawnshop has to be stolen, or else the person was in a really bad spot and needed the money. Its kind of sad.

a co worker of mine his wife took his xbox and 20+ games to the pawn shop for 150 bucks one time.. i live in a town where there are really really stupid people. but yes some of the stuff that ends up there are stolen i'll agree. but others is that people are stupid and trade in games to pawn shops

but also I usually don't find current gen systems at the pawn shops.. usually a 64 or PS1 occasionally a GC never a Xbox sometimes a PS2 since i didn't have one i had to jump on it.. and the games are always hit or miss.. usually its uninformed people who trade in games.. thinking they are "worthless".. but its not really worth it to "steal games" and trade them in to the pawn shop for < 5 (if they sell at 10 ... maybe 6).. the only problem i have is they don't take "older" (older than 64) games.. so if there are people trading in really cool NES or SNES games and they are turned down.. its too bad.. the pawn shops (we have 2 in town) have my number incase someone wants to trade in SNES or NES games i'll usually take them heh..
