PC CPU upgrade question!!! please help an indecisive man!!!

I am thinking about upgrading my CPU and these appear to be the best options for my motherboard:

in case you don't feel like clicking the links one is a Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 Wolfdale 3.16GHz for 199.99 and the other is Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz for 169.99 and they both have a 6MB cache...basically I am wondering if the extra .16GHz is worth another $30???

save $30. get the e8400. you can always OC it to run at 3.16GHz lol.

The differences between a 3.16Ghz and 3.0Ghz are so subtle you won't ever notice it. Maybe 1-2 fps on some games that aren't GPU-bound. Save the $30 and go with the E8400.
