I know someone else already posted about getting PREY cheap, but there needs to be a thread to tally up all of the discounted prices because there are some ridiculous deals I just found and it will take a combined effort to scan all of Circuit City's games. Anyways, I have just purchased:

edit: Thank you to pcktlnt for making this list alphabetized and coding it for starforce.
To help out my fellow caggers, here is a compiled list of the games that have been listed throughout the entire forum. Do not hate on me if some of the prices may be off, I just copied/pasted. Good luck finding the games. Please, please please please please put the game title and price when you guys list. This way it would help out a lot. ^__^

A few questions were arising that I thought everyone knew. But I will help clarify here just in case.
 • All prices listed below are 50% off. That means, what you see listed below should be what you pay for that game.
 • NEVER believe the sticker price on Circuit City games. If you feel doubtful have the employee/cashier PRICE CHECK the game.
 • Your mileage may vary (YMMV). For example, we know that Sam & Max price checks for 24.99, but a fellow CAG was able to find one that had a sticker price of 19.99, so he/she was able to pick it up for 10.00. Same with someone else and a Deluxe version of Battlefield. Use your best judgment in obtaining a game not on this list.
 • If you do purchase a game, please list the game and price. This way, the list can be updated.
 • Good luck fellow CAGs.
Thank you fellow CAGs for posting your game finds and prices.

LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 2 $3.50
LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth 2 Expansion: FREE (no idea why they didn't charge me)
Prey $6.50
Rise of Nations 2: Rise of Legends $9
It's dropped to 8.96 and yes you can go price adjust if you take your receipt in within 30 days of purchase.
Just gotta scare up the receipt. Thanks for the info!

i bought some today.... but they wernt as cheap as i had hoped.

Nightfall:guild wars was 35$ still apparently :(

and i forgot to use my gamers card, fuck :( i coulda saved the tax right there... ugh, that thing gets such little use i always forget i even have the damn thing.
Went back for the last ratty copy of Darwinia today.

COD Deluxe (big box) rang up at $10.

No go on Galactic Civilizations II Gold, Oblivion, or C&C First Decade. (Probably should have checked CC.com first...duh.)
All the copies of Darwinia looked ratty at every CC I visted so dont feel bad

Thanks to the OP for the great deal.

Picked up Darwinia ($1.XX)
Splinter Cell DA ($3.75)
Stalker $10
R6 - Vega $10

The sale may be over, but that doesn't mean there aren't some great unmarked clearance deals to be had. $3 for Darwinia isn't shabby.

As others have said, the deal is dead, dead, dead, but since I was away on vacation last week, I still had to jump on some of the non-discounted clearance prices.
Picked up Darwinia, Dark Messiah of MM CE and Guildwars Nightfall CE for about $30 total. Not as hot as $15 by any means, but a collector's edition for

Well, dammit, I am finally able to get out to a CC today and came here to print up the list. I had no idea from this thread that this was a weekly sale thing - thought it was like the clearance stuff that is ongoing. Shoot...

Next time, OP, put that little detail in the first post! Had I known ahead of time I would have edited it in there (and gone to CC yesterday myself ;)).

Gah Wish I'd known about this yesterday. I would have made out like a bandit !!!! I wanted Stalker and BF 2142 But meh! I still picked up DM: M&M for only 8.96 something and one of the CC employees actually hid it under the counter for a second when I got the price checked and I thought he wasn't gonna give it back.
Bullshit. GalCiv2 Gold?! I scanned that sucker at CC yesterday and it came up $30!
no...not the gold version.
For anyone who missed out on the sale/didn't quite get the titles they wanted:

The Official Circuit City PC Game Trading Thread of Love, Insanity, and Darwinians

I figure one megathread will be more managable than everyone just putting their extra titles in their trade list threads.

heres my last post in here.

once again, a thread created by me so that we can arrange some play time with each other and our new toys!

R6 - Vegas was like $5 at my store.
Time to move this to deals graveyard?
Probably, although a CC PC price drop thread would be something cool to have around.

But CC's PC games sections are even worse managed than the videogames, hence all these super cheapass games that went untouched for so long.

So it might be a little hard to do. Plus demand isn't as high for console stuff.

Man this sucks, my store still has a ton of stuff, and it's all back to normal price... the only thing I saw and thought about was the BF2042 preorder box with a 64MB thumbdrive for 0.79.. but even I passed on that since it's only 64MB :p

I wanted BF2042 and Guild Wars... oh well, another time.

I'll re-suggest that we double the prices on the original list, and keep it around as a "Circuit City PC game price drop" list.
You passed on a 79 cent thumb drive? Zero sense.
Oh so you're one of these random people who post just to insult people? That is incredibly useful.

Is 79 cents good for a 64MB thumbdrive? Yeah... do I NEED a 64MB thumbdrive? Is there EVER a time in my life that I'd need to use a thumbdrive and I'd reach for the 64MB thumbdrive instead of my 1 GB drive? No.

I'm now in the stage of my life where I'm trying to minimize collecting more junk.

Thanks for voicing your opinion however.

So, should we assume the prices are double, so stuff like Darwinia would be ~$3, BF2 dlx ~$10, and Nightfall around $20? If so, those would still be decent deals.

nightfall is like 35 dollars, the orginal one.

so I am not sure why that one was 19.99, but whatever.

man i hope CC does this again sometime
if i had more money, i would have made a killing :(
BF2142, STALKER, and R6:Vegas were still nice for $10 a piece though :p
Snagged the last copy of STALKER for $10 with the store just about to close on Saturday. It was a sweet victory.
I can only imagine everything moving in slow motion as you run and dive into the register. Then, upon bagging the game and handing you the receipt, fireworks explode in the background as you jump in joy... of course, this is all STILL going in slow motion.
You passed on a 79 cent thumb drive? Zero sense.
64MB for $0.79 is a lousy byte/$ ratio. Unless he needed ANY flash drive and only had a buck to spend, I'd say he's a good CAG.

Snagged a Dariwinia today. 2 more were available, I guess I could swing by and get them if there is some nice incentive for me...

How? i thought it was over
I picked up a copy of Darwinia tonight for $2.58+tax. OMFG!!! I feel so ripped off having to pay DOUBLE the price!!!!

/sarcasm
I'm recording this in case your cheapassness --which may not be a real word-- comes under review in the future. Then shall the evidence prove indisputably that you wantonly glossed over a dollar and a quarter, recklessly throwing gold away into the coffers of the already-privileged. :nottalking:

As unforgivable as my spendthrift ways may seem, I got one of my HDTVs from Circuit City for half-off their normal price due to a weird store pricing incident (savings: $1300!), so tossing them a .1% tip is no skin off my nose. Besides, I usually take their ads and 110% PM them at Beast Buy so CC doesn't get my money and I gank BB at the same time.

Eerily accurate, except you didn't mention the women and children I pushed to the ground as I made my way to the front.

I was kicking myself for not picking up the Battlefield 2 : Special Forces expansion.

I just read the box that the Battlefield 2 Deluxe contains it already. That is so awesome.. I can't believe how cheap that and the Booster pack was.
Has anyone found that Stalker was $10 at their store recently? I had it priced on Monday at one store and was told $19.99
The sale is over. The games aren't 50% off anymore.

If the copy of Speedy's ad on Slickdeals was correct, this sale will occur again the week of 2/10. The stores will probably have been cleaned out, but you can try again.

From what I have seen, my local stores still have a number of titles from the old sale...however this time I bet you they will be gone before the middle of the week.

I'm going to go buy some tomorrow and then pricematch it on sunday with the ad. But I'm reluctant because I don't want to deal with the cashiers twice.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R is such a shitty ass game. I played it at a friends, and wow, it really was terrible.
