PC Gaming Controller

Hey guys I'm trying to determine a good PC gaming controller. I don't know too much about it as I'm new to gaming on the PC but with the steam deals going on I can't resist. Any deals and recommendations would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

Get an official Microsoft wired xbox 360 controller. There isn't anything better.
