Speaking of VP, what's the deal with the director's cut? Is that just naked anime chicks or something weird like that or is it actual story content that has some meaning to it?

Hint: It's Anime.

He means that Vanguard Princess has been on Steam for some time now. So Steam keys being there... isn't a surprise.

Um, eww.

I didn't have it on my IG Monday 8 list, so I didn't know the keys had always been there. It's way too early for me to be actually researching stuff.

My thoughts on the games from the videos:

Bravada - story looks fun, gameplay looks okay...some turn based strategy game or such....will get played.

Pulse Shift - minimalist platformer type game....not really into these but will at least get a try and the graphics are nice...gameplay looks simple enough to not make me want to tear out my hair or scream haha.

New Orbit - Spaceship simulator....looks OK for a quick play but looks like an OK phone port....will at least try it.

Fatal Theory - Beat Em Up with okay graphics and somewhat varied gameplay. Looks a bit amateur but could be fun. Got from IGS before so if it's gets Greenlit could give away an extra key. I love beat em ups so it will get played eventually.

Inside the Gear - Looks like a really fun physics puzzle game. Will likely be the first one I will want to play. Graphics look pretty good too.

Super Panda Adventures - Looks like a really fun platformer game. Been bundled a few times now....come on get on Steam already and i'll play!

Monstafish - I'll be honest this looks like a cheap mini game collection. Looks very shovelware-ish but at least there is different gameplay modes....will pass unless someone gives an amazing review of it.

Doom'n Damned - This one looks like another in the tough platformers category. Looks very OK  though....art and animation looks rough and the jumping looks floaty. This will get played, but it looks very rough and not very good IMHO.

I am buying for 1 esp for Bravada and Inside the Gear. If anyone plays any (haha on CAG people playing games!!!) please post thoughts on the games.

Tried out BLOCKSTORM, it's not completely awful.  Feels like an old Quake but plays much slower.  Lots of blocky character skins to choose from.  It has a handful of weapons which you can swap out (one rifle slot, one handgun slot, one grenade slot, one melee, a couple things I don't know what the fuck they do).  Weapons have weight, heavier you go, the slower you move.  No rockets or BFGs or anything yet...might be unlockables later.  Guns seemed relatively accurate, not sure about targeted damage increases (headshots).  Levels had a decent variety of elevation, but jumping up blocks is very annoying.

Pretty sure it's multiplayer only, only tried Deathmatch so far.  Supposedly the blocks are destructible, but the grenades didn't seem to do anything.

Having a hard time pretending I didn't pay $10 for it.   :oldman:

Have you played Guncraft or Ace of Spades to compare? Or even CastleminerZ?

New IndieGala Steam Greenlight Bundle #2 - $1 for 8 games

So is this one of those bundles that won't see a Happy Hour? They really shouldn't confuse old people with this business.
