[PC] The Indie Gala Thread

dumb question cuz i'm not sure how happy hour works.  if I paid $4 in the first 24 hours that august heat went on sale, if I buy another gift bundle for $4 do I get 3 (or 4?  or 2?) gift copies total?  The description when you click happy hour is a bit confusing with tier 2s, paying MORE than that, plus the fact that my purchase email doesn't even mention how much I paid (but I think I remember paying $4 and $3.99 was the minimum, will have to check my paypal account I guess).

want to give some extra copies of these games to some friends but don't want to overpromise and find out i'll only get 1 gift copy

Right now during Happy Hour you would have to pay more than $5.89 (so $5.90 or above) and if you do that you will get 4 gift copies of the full BTA bundle.

If you need more than 4 copies follow this list:

Donate 2 -gifts paying more than:
$11.58

Donate 3 gifts paying more than:
$17.93

Donate 4 gifts paying more than:
$21.49

Donate 5 gifts paying more than:
$24.78



And remember each of those on the list would get multiplied by 4.

So you would get 8 bundles for $11.59, 12 bundles for $17.94, etc.

 
ok, I bought the bundle trying to figure out this gift thing...  I am confused.

I paid $5.90.  (Average was 5.89)

When I log in, I get 2 codes that I can email to friends.  Not 4...  

Where is the 4 coming from??

Happy Hour = 2x

but if you bought previously at full price = 3x

if it was during first 48hr/week? = 4x

or something like that

You mean you don't like stuff? This is why i'm so afraid of getting lootcrate or nerdbox or any of these monthly subscription services. I hate getting random crap since I have a bunch of stuff anyway. I would get a kick out of it if I was younger but not as much anymore.

I recently got randomshirts for cheap from ShirtPunch. While I didn't hate the random shirts (and quite liked one of them), I still feel like 1 purchased shirt I really wanted for the price of those 3 shirts would have been better.

 
I think they've done it once or twice for a Friday/Monday bundle but it's not common.

*Edit: Anyone hosting and if so how much? I really only want Luna so not willing to pay that much. :p

I guess I can always check with The Peculiar Purple Pieman of Putanesca Pasta if I have to.

I need three games out of the bundle so I might be interested in a cheap HH purchase as well but I won't cry if I miss out.  That's a lot of repeat links to try to give away to a group of people that already owns everything.

 
Well they inflated the price to like $4something which is nuts for a crappy Friday bundle, but maybe if there was someone who just fell off the turnip truck and didn't have all those games already and actually wanted them and bought on day one hh price divided could be cheap.

Not holding out too much hope though.

I miss the good ol days of like a few weeks ago where everyone was fighting to undercut a bitch to sell cheap as hell happy hour dollar days of utter shit bundles.

Wow. $1.25, three spicy meatballs, a gold coin blob AND a cannoli? Not sure the bundle is worth all of that.

well, there is a regular here who host the pack for $1.10 but b/c he didn't post it here. So, I assume he didn't want canoli as payment but borderland does --> all power to him.

Is it possible to claim gift pages on my Indie Gala profile? I'm logged into IG, but when I open a gift link it says "Log in / Sign up" at the top of the page. If I click that, it takes me to my IG profile, but it still doesn't show me logged in if I open the gift link again.

As far as I can tell, there's no security with gift links or ability to claim them so that they're only visible to the intended recipient.
