This is exactly what I'm thinking. Its even more hilarious that people ignore their hating comments and then they reword them and post it again trying to get a reaction. You're not fucking edgy, no one gives a shit if you dont like Halo.

Yup. Just like no one cares that you might like Halo 2. Wasn't trying to be edgy. Didn't realize an opinion contrary to the majority was wrong. Thanks for clarifying! Actually, the hilarious thing is how defensive people get over a game.

Its not about getting defensive, its about getting annoyed at hearing the same thing over and over from you pathetic Halo haters. We get it, you don't like the game. Thanks for sharing. Now go away.

and as a retort, yes we get it, you like Halo 2, nay, you love Halo 2. best first person shooter ever, blah blah blah. don't you think that gets old too? we are all entitled to our opinions. in comparing PDZ as a "halo 2 killer" those of us that didn't enjoy either single player or live play, it just shows that the reviewers are trying to stir up hype. Having an opinion is ok ya know, even if it is not the same as yours.

According to those impressions PDZ is similar to the first PD (and Goldeneye, and the Timesplitter games), which I really enjoyed. :D
I look forward to the reviews.
To anyone who has seen the guide: How many multiplayer levels does PD0 have? I've heard 6, but that seems really low.
 
Those IGN first impressions make it sound like it will be somewhere in the high 7 low 8 range. Good, but nothing new or special.

I wish I could live in a world where you either have to love or hate something. It might make things easier, to view the world in absolutes.

I enjoy Halo 2. I don't think it's the best first-person shooter in the history of Earth -- but I think it's one of the best.

It's ok to have an opinion... yet if you recap your first sentence in what I've quoted above, you're deeming their opinion as a fallacy, as it seems as though it's nothing more than hype, as PD0 can't be any better than Halo 2... even though you don't like Halo 2. Confusing.
 
well, if you would read the post, the first section was a retort to the m mn. then i go on to say that by the reviewers comparing pdz to halo 2, i find them( the reviewers) to be trying to stir up hype. i don't remember ever saying that people can not just think that halo 2 is ok. I merely was poking fun at the response of member m mn, when he called those that don't like halo 2 as being pathetic halo haters. I personally have specific reasons ( previous post in this thread) about why i believe that there was hype regarding the reviews of halo 2 ( graphical glitches etc) and and why i did not enjoy the game ( lame cliffhanger story).

As for PDZ, i clearly stated that i would make a judgement on the game when i bought an xbox 360. I don't really get what you trying to assume from what i wrote. My opinion is clear, using the phrase, "halo 2 killer" the reviewers are trying to stir up hype. I never have said that their opinion is wrong, merely that they are attempting to draw a comparison with a very popular game.
Looking over that line of my post it seems that i am saying that because i didn't enjoy the game, the reviewers hype is unwanted. I was trying to make the comparison that the hype means nothing to those that didn't like halo 2 as much as others.
 
So what you're saying is that you'd prefer a game review where they don't compare it to / draw comparisons from another game (let alone popular game)?

I hope its not like Halo2, Halo2 was a huge hype machine that truly fizzled out story wise, yes I happen to like stories in my games. There was supposed to be this huge conflict with massive battles on Earth and other spartans fighting with you defending the planet. There was like one board like that. They had a to be continued ending which is beyond cheese for a 50 dollar product. I dont reallly care if the online is amazing, its the story first, there do happen to be people without live. Also there was such a rush job in getting it done that the cutscenes had objects poppin in and out. If you wanna say that is a quality game you are entitled to your opinion, to me it made me regret my purchase of a half-assed, overhyped Halo 1.5.
