Yeah, but have you seen what Persona goes for now (hint: $50-$70 even for used copies)? I think I'll get this. Sure, it might be $20 around BF, but then again, maybe not...

Bought! So glad I didn't buy this the other day when I had a credit burning a hole in my digital pocket. Bought two Dark Souls guides and preordered the Layton title instead and now I get a better deal. Awesome.
 
I wonder if Amazon has addressed their little shipping problem with Persona 2? Gamers were reporting crushed boxes arriving to them in bubble mailers, which led to Amazon temporarily freezing their Persona 2 listing in order to "investigate" the issue.
 
It dropped because of the screw ups they did with shipping it. People got crushed copies duplicates etc. They screwed mine up it was a horror to get fixed but at least I got a credit out of it.
 
this is why i wont pay full price for any PSP game...

psp is a dead format and prices will fall


this is why im waiting to buy FATE/EXTRA

I didn't get a credit or replacement box. Barely an apology.
 
when I got my copy the box was crushed, it looked like it was shipped to them that way. I returned it for a refund(they refunded shipping too).
 
Ironic, I had one at 29.99 USED sitting in my cart when posted this, was checking this out on cell phone and thought I added to cart as well but hit 1 click.... guess I own it now... thanks OP lol

Wow, that's weird... it was selling for roughly MSRP a few months ago when I found my copy (forgot I had it until it turned up).

In that case, I think I'll bite. I passed at launch but this is a good price for me.

I realize that they're two completely different situations, but the fact that I had to scramble around to find SMT on the 3DS for MSRP made me pull the trigger early on Persona 2 when it was 5% off in my Gold Box. I wish I had a little more faith in Atlus' release windows.

Although it makes me sad that I paid an extra $10 for P2; my copy did arrive without being crushed to bajeezus. In the end, I guess I can't be too upset.
 
I'm tempted on buying it at this price, but it's not low enough for me to buy it and think I got a deal on it. I don't know, maybe knowing it's available on the PSN store takes the pressure off of buying it right now in order to secure my copy.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know about this deal OP :)

I have a feeling you are right and canceled my order. I won't be getting my PSP until November when I go back home anyways so no hurry.

Finally relented. Just placed an order along with a 3DS case in order to force them to use a box to ship.
