Persona 3 *sealed* $50 at Game Crazy

Found 3 copies at my local GC in Bremerton, Wa. This may be regional but I figured I'd throw it out there.

Obviously not that big of a deal with FES coming down the pipe, but you could flip a copy or two quick before people notice if you're a jerk :D

Sidenote: While there, the clerk poached my trade-in of FF3 and Luminous Arc :p

The only thing regional about this is whether you can find a copy. $49.99 is MSRP.
 
I'm sorry, I have been a bit out of the loop over this game. I just heard about the FES version. Will it include the original game alongside the new content?

EDIT: After a bit of lurking, that's a "yes." No art book or OST is a bit of a bummer, but it's a decent tradeoff when you consider the price.
 
$50? I was at a Game Crazy last week and they had a copy on the wall with a $40 price tag. Of course, it could have been the wrong price.

People are dumb. If you want the original sealed with the sound track and art book, this is one way to get it without paying Ebay pricing, though those prices should be dropping.
 
Like the OP, I have noticed this as well.

I was thinking of grabbing it, but with FES I changed my mind. The art book doesn't grab me, and while I am more of a soundtrack person. Yet I can just import the full OST if I really like it.

But I do want to thank the OP for pointing this out; GCs can have some hard-to-find stuff due to not having an online store... Darn same they are closing so many of them, I preferred shopping/reserving there then at the likes of GS/EB.
 
While the availability of rare items at MSRP *can* be considered a deal, the YMMV/regional/one store the OP went to nature of this makes this particular one not so much of a deal ;).

By the way, OP, since you are in the Pacific NW I should note that just about every Fred Meyer store I went to in January had copies of Persona 3. And they often had a 10% off coupon (good on all games) running at the same time. The copies might be a little harder to find now but they were all over the place just a few weeks ago - and I doubt too many more will get snapped up now with FES coming. In fact, I'd keep an eye out for a clearance on them soon.

Also, Kmart is a good place to find P3. Just sayin'...

Hell, I've got an extra copy if anyone wants it ;).
