Huh? Didn't you know every copy of Persona 4 comes with a soundtrack CD?

However, the second soundtrack CD (Volume 2?) is only available in the social expansion pack which is currently sold out as a preorder.

Pity, that. But for the nascent stuff-pile promised by a plushie, calendar and shirt in my cluttered two-bedroom apartment, I'd have jumped on that deal with both Docs. Still, I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to rip mp3s of the second soundtrack if Atlus itself doesn't put them up on partner Amazon's music download store.

I know persona 3 had multiple endings I played persona 3 I still need to play persona 3 fes parts though..

I looked it up and It looks like persona 4 will have a Bad Ending, a good ending, and a true ending something like that.
 
I never read actual reviews -- most of them are written by people who don't know how differentiate between a 'review' and a 'book report'. Spoilers galore in the latter.

Yeah that is really odd. Of course mine says that too, but it kind of depends where it ships from for how long it takes. I guess they get backed up for the holidays and it takes longer to process orders, but mine usually got to my house between 3-6 days. I knew I should've signed up for Prime! Curse my skepticism.

Edit: Didn't even look at the rest of the item you posted. I don't mind the expansion pack so much, but it says that too for the game itself. I'm expecting my Persona 4 fix, and I don't know if I can wait an entire month. Also, if I click the order, it still says the Delivery Estimate is the 22-24th.
 
I get the impression that amazon is sitting on free shipping orders to promote prime. My Resistance 2 from yesterday is being "prepared to ship" with an estimated shipping date of Dec 1 (delivery 8 days later than that). That never used to happen for in stock items which would ship the day of the order or the day after at worst.
 
I got on the Prime trail because I needed computer parts fast. Getting this before Christmas is a nice bonus. However, Amazon has always good to me about getting stuff sent out fast if I order in advance with saver shipping.

Well, of course. Just like any shipping service, the cheapest stuff gets lowest priority. At USPS sorting facilities, the Priority Mail gets sorted first, and if the other stuff doesn't make it out of the facility until two days later, that's just the way it works.

Amazon always ships preordered items days after it's actually released... kinda stupid but that's what always ends up happening.
 
ordered mine back in mid october like the rest of you and it said it wouldn't ship til after christmas..but i got prime a few weeks ago so i just changed the shipping method and VOILA! It shall now be delivered on the 12th! joy! can't wait!
 
ok, I bit-- I enjoyed Persona 3 quite a bit (but still haven't finished it yet...) but I figure I'll just get it at this price and sit on it for a while.

I always get the free shipping option... it seems there's an Amazon warehouse very close to where I live (in Philadelphia) so half the time they just send a courier to drop it off the day after I place the order. For free. It's pretty sweet and pretty much just ensures that I buy everything from them.
 
I was always get my stuff before thier crazy eta shipping dates. I really hope I get mine before xmas.....If not I'll just cancel my order.

No problem. I don't know why Atlus aren't advertising it themselves, unless they're afraid of being accused of triple-dipping. :) I'm also wondering what the price will be after Amazon's Black Friday sale price of $29.95 is over with, since it hasn't been available before this at all.
 
Ok if this has been answered in this thread then I'm a giant moron, but does the artbook come with every copy or only the Amazon, Gamestop copies? the reason I ask is that I can get the game cheaper on ebay with the live cashback deal, but there is no mention of the book, just the soundtrack, thanks.
 
the preorder artbook is, as the name implies, a preorder bonus...so if you mean that artbook...well, preorder is your best; note that I am not saying you won't find the same thing on ebay or other merchants after the preorder dates
 
Yeah, for P4, every copy comes with the CD in the case, but the artbook is only with preorders at certain merchants. If the listing doesn't mention an artbook then you probably won't get one.

Found this on their forums, and it's dated 11/06/08, which mentions Amazon.com as a vendor of P4 that has artbooks for pre-order:

When it dropped down to $34.99, I did a print of the web page, and it still lists the text block that talks about the artbook. Currently, the page has the Black Friday Deals block where the info about the artbook would be.

The day fast approaches. 1UP gave it an A+.

And wow at that art book. A t-shirt, plushie and soundtrack CD I could get some use out of (my cat loves anything with fluff), but the art book is iffy, and $30...ouch.
 
pre-ordered P4. I wonder why atlus does not make it a HD game and release it on PS3, just like disgaea 3. well, at least it's only $35 on PS2.
