Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2 Plus

 $10 shipped?

You will need a very kind CAG to send it to you for that amount :)

None within 100 miles from my location...

Um... not a joke.

It costs $5 at Game Stop (if they have it), and if it doesn't put anyone out of their way, it would be a completely decent thing to do.

I'm not asking someone to sell me their cherished copy... all I'm asking is if someone happens to see that there is one near them, if they would be willing to pick it up for me. Yikes... try and make a simple request and people act like I'm insane.
they sell for $50 on ebay. no one is going to sell it to you for$10
No. Way. *Rummages through closet to go find old copy*

yea, i am almost 100% positive you are not going to find this game at gamestop, it is very rare and like the posters above said a used copy goes for around $57 and up...and a new copy well those are ridiculously high in price (around $150 shipped)
i have a like new copy with a guide that i am willing to sell but definitely not for $10 lol.

Just because Gamestop charges $5 for this doesn't mean that's what it's worth.

They sell the Component cables for GC for example, for $5 I believe, and those are also worth $30+ on ebay.

I sold my copy of PSO+ a few years back, and sold it for $50 then, so think what you want, the value has stayed the same/increased since then.

...another thing to note is that some Gamestops would'nt even accept it as a trade in because it was an MMORPG. I tried to trade in my copy twice to gamestop and ended up ebaying it.

If your looking to do what I think your gonna do, you don't want the "plus", you want the regular version (non-plus). In addition to what everyone else is saying, it's even more expensive for the non-plus version. Good luck finding it for $10.

For the hell of it I plugged in the zip codes of around 30 cities across the country and NOT ONE returned a store with the game in stock within 100 miles of the zip. I'm beginning to wonder if there are any in stock at all at any Gamestop.

Who wants to be the first person to find a store with the game in stock?

This is already OT but what can one do with the regular version that doesn't work with the plus version?

I actually own Phantasy Star Online 1 & 2 for GameCube (two copies, actually... I stumbled into a copy at a local GS today), and I have no desire to use it in the way you mentioned... but whatever, that's neither here nor there ;)

And to answer Halo05's question, it includes all the online quests and GBA minigames that were available from Sega's servers. And I actually want it for those very reasons... I know, it's amazing!

And once again, I'd like to point out that the purpose of this thread was to see if people *happened* to have a copy of this that was at a GameStop near them, and if it didn't put them out too much, to pick it up for me. I'm not asking anyone to sell me their copy, and I'm not asking anyone to go out and look for it for me. I just wanted people to check if their local GameStop might have it using the online search tool, and if they might be able to sell it to me for a reasonable price.

Thanks again.
Hey... I've been looking for this for a while and just can't seem to find it anywhere near any of the places I've lived.
good thing you found it today then... how many copies are you trying to get, like 15?

You are an idiot... I FOUND A COPY OF PSO 1&2 NON-PLUS TODAY.

And the only reason I found that was because I was looking for PLUS.

RTFT.
Dude, two words (If you have one by you.): Game Crazy.
good point... i tried the two play-n-trades near me, too. no dice.

If you can find a GC in your area, they can scout the surrounding stores inventories and see if they have a copy. I Got mine because I worked for GC a while back. And, even though it may be a shot in the dark, it's still worth a try . . . . it's the same thing that I did with Fatal Frame 3, and ended up getting it for 15 dollars.
i found one at gamestop about 5 months ago, i couldn't believe my eyes. Now it sits in my collection.
New? I had the non plus version and tried to trade it in but couldn't because of the unique code beside the fact that the servers are closed and I never played online.

Wait, I thought the Plus version was more rare and expensive? It's the same game with extra content, right?

The regular has an exploit that is absent from the Plus version. But, yea... as I said, I want a copy of Plus for the additional content.
