I went to 5 stores in ohio today and they all had them in stock, nobody even looking at them. Nintend cleaned up with the ds and wii. The best part of the day was at gamestop when a guy was returning a 60gb, he said the reason was because it is worthless on ebay. Guess the camping out was a great idea!!!!!!

Yeah, this would be better off posted in the Southwest forum.

I noticed quite a few PS3s on the 17th, but no one really seemed interested in them. Everyone wanted a Wii/DS. :D

Can we stop with the PS3 availability threads now that it is impossible to get one shipped for Christmas? No one wants one anyway...

Don't need to necessarily stop with them, but keeping them in 'regional deals' would be much better.

It's just funny because it is posted in regional and no one has replied! I made a post too in regional. At least we have one, so when more games than Resistance come out, we'll be set. I just gotta figure out how I am going to attach so many systems since I need my Guitar Hero II fix available. 360, Xbox, Wii, PS2, PS3, DVD/DVR, two cable boxes. Too much.:pray:

Yeah I was in Best Buy this morning (Independence, MO) and there were 6 sitting on a palet and everyone was ignoring them. Funny because just last weekend all of the mom's were lined up Saturday night because they were going to have Wii's last Sunday.

Well, I had my Wii at launch, and I left the PS3's on the palet, so yeah.

PS3 availability is nothing new to me. Just this past week I had the chance to buy one at GameStop, Target, and today - Best Buy. The only people that were buying them are the resellers and they're not even interested anymore since they're only making a small profit (if the system sells).

Considering how few ps3s were made it's pretty bad that it's not even selling out before Christmas. Guess the demand is lower than the minuscule supply they have.

Stopped at BB in Downer's Grove, IL. (on my way to Fry's) yesterday and also was surprised to see 30+ 60gb units on the floor since I previously never saw one nor anyone purchasing one. Several people had two in their cart. One couple each were holding one. Overall was a good day as I purchased one never thinking I would get one as a Christmas present for myself. Sure beats the week-long wait at the Schaumburg Circuit City launch...
