I bought the Retro-Bit Sega Genesis portable last week and these are my impressions. Plus: 20 licensed games, no screen blurring, decent audio, nice packaging, buttons/dpad are responsive, AV out. Negative: no slot for Genesis/Mega Drive cartridges, tiny screen, no save feature for games, a little overpriced. My recommend purchase price would be $30. It is not a must have system by any means.
Games included: Sonic & Knuckles, Alex in Kidd in Enchanted Castle, Gain Ground, Arrow Flash, Shinobi III, Ecco, Ecco Jr, Golden Axe, Crackdown, Altered Beast, Flicky, Decap Attack, Eswat, Alien Storm, Shadow Dancer, Columns III, Sonic Spinbal, Jewel Master, Kid Chameleon, Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine.
Thanks for the info. For anyone that doesn't have it, it makes a lot more sense to just pick up Sega Genesis Collection for the PSP for $20-30ish.
Pikmin's (still) fun. I bought the new version-got it in from Amazon on Saturday, and ended up playing through the whole game again. Finished it last night around 3am (or...err...this morning).
I didn't like the control quite as well, but it does actually work fine. The graphics that were jaw droppingly gorgeous in 2001 are...well, very obviously last gen and flawed, but a good looking last gen game, and functional. (Reeeeeeeeally made me want it remade on current gen hardware, and last night I was left with my brain still managing Pikmin as I fell asleep, which was annoying, but I guess that's about the worst I can say about it  )
