My friends dad has an old playboy pinball machine that sits in the basement and basically, the only use it gets is when Im over there. It is a little beat up, alot of the bulbs are burned out and the LCD score is missing a number. The playfield also has a slight smash/dent on it that very slightly alters the balls path in one part but its not a big deal at high speeds.
I think its supposed to play music as well or talk but it doesnt. I was just wondering, how much would a late 70's early 80's pinball machine that needs some repairs go for? And what would be a fair offer, how the hell would I move the thing,,,and are there still shops that repair or tune up these things? I could probably do it myself but I dont want to worry about it all if 100-200 dollars can get it into good condition again. If the total is around 500 or maybe even 1000 I could consider it. Might need to rent a moving truck too.
