new or old news? Don't think I saw it around here

Though not necessarily for ps3 (development still unknown for which system; ps3/360/wii, or possibly all three), this looks like it could be some good fun. I loved super dodgeball on the nes (actually had the japanese version on famicom), so hope this can bring back some memories.

a quick rundown:

  • Developed by new developer Blazing Lizard
  • First in a series of Pirates vs. Ninjas games
  • Choose from 5 teams (Pirates, Ninjas, and 3 others still unannounced. Maybe Vikings will be thrown in the mix? lol)
  • Up to 4 players locally, 8 online
  • Co-op and Versus modes available
  • Exhibition, Story and Challenge modes
  • Each character will have their own special abilities
Sounds like fun
 
perhaps...which reminds me

I thought there was going to be a super dodgeball coming to the DS, but after a quick check it turns out it was just announced pretty recently like beginning of August?? I thought it was way old news, was going to go see if I could pick it up after work today lol
