As I am a total newcomer to PS3.... how can you trade games ?

Every PSN games you buy, you can share it to 5 other PS3s. To share it, you have to give the other person the password and email to your account so they can create a new user and log in with your PSN ID to download the game off your download list. You can their ID and password, create a new user, and do the same.
