Play-asia, Liksang, and NCSX have the Nintendo DS Lite In-stock; 199.99$

It's too close to May to pay an extra $50-$75 for one.

If they're getting these in stock, it may be time for them to quit gouging.

Yeah, why pay a markup when you could wait 3 weeks instead?

Price doesn't matter to me either way though, my normal DS is perfectly fine w/ me. (but it's also the blue one, if I had the grey one it'd be gone in a second.)

I don't know about everyone else, but I heard it from EGM:

Yes it will.

Yes, the DS is region-free. Also, you can change the language of the DS menu screen to english.

I highly doubt this will be out in May, no gamestores are even taking pre-orders on them yet......at least last I checked they weren't.

You don't want a white one. The keys get really dirty. I have the light blue and the L and R buttons get dirty easily. I would recommend the enamel navy.

I found this works if you're worried about getting your DS lite dirty -

XD

But yeah, I grabbed a navy.

I got my Enamel Navy from play-asia on Monday - no problems whatsoever in getting the menus changed to English and plays every game perfectly. The difference in screen brightness is striking and the stylus seems a bit longer than the old one (I can't remember for sure, it's been months since I sold off my old titanium DS). The only downside to this importing thing is that now I'm hooked - I've got Band Brothers DS + expansion cart, Jump Superstars, Children of Mana and that cheerleader game all on the way. I'm also looking into the Kuru Kuru GBA games and the Legend of Starfli (looks like a Kirby game). I have no right to call myself a CAG anymore.

If the DS Lite was going to be released in May for the US, a month's notice would be in order. I'll probably go with a June release date.

I was going to sell my DS on ebay with some games to get the lite. The screen is so much better its worth it to me. So I go to look at the price of shipping its $28 for shipping! fuck that I'll stick with my Red DS or wait until the lite comes stateside here in the fall.
