Play some GR2: Summit Strike you fockers

Anyone up for a game? I'm new to GR2 online (played through the SP in the GR2), and figured when better to start than when the community expands again for the Summit Strike "expansion"?

I'd like to do some crazy 8 or 16 person co-op.


Also, this is a dumb question, but how the hell do you talk? Neither GR2 or GR2:SS mentions this in the manual as far as I can see. Nice of them to think of me when they wrote it. Why would I EVER need to talk to other people online anyway?
 
you dont have a button to talk...just talk through your headset whenever...

i'll play co-op...im new to the series, but had a blast playing co-op with some CAGs and random people last night...

I'll be on occasion as Jagr69, if I get any better/put more time into it I'll probably pick up GR3 for the 360.
 
I'm on quite a bit, but try to join my games or message me if possible. I usually can't leave my games cause I have a crew with me, but I can bring them with me if I know what is going on. Lets get some big games going later if we can.
 
I'll be on soon. I don't think I can host large rooms. It will lag like a mutha.
But invite me in. I already have you on my FL WilWop so we can get started.
 
hey, can anyone tell me if the whole xbox live setup is as sluggish as it was for Ghost Recon 2? One of my major qualms about the game was how it was set up, took forever to access your friends list and whatnot...
 
Searching for games is really slow, joining them is pretty quick

The Friends List is buried under a few menus, and isn't terribly fast to load

he should........................he's always on that game. He plays more than anybody else on my friends list, with the exception of swetooth9. But only since this game came out.

I wouldn't mind playing this but if nobody wants to play I may just play Madden. I would rather play GR.
 
I used to play online a little bit before the move, but since I've relocated I haven't even bothered to pull the modem cable out of storage. :cry:
 
I was playing the RS3:Lockdown demo but it hard to get in a game. Finally got in one and it ran like crap. It didn't even feel like a RS game. But I want to try it with more CAG's, so does anybody have it?

Especially one-system propagandathons. Does the demo let you create a character?
 
Whatever happened to punishing people (accuracy) by spraying like an idiot with a rifle? Running around with the lame shotguns for the engineer was a definite disadvantage... all the commandos were just spraying all over the damned place and killing like 10 or 12 people a round to everyone else's 2 or 3.

I am not impressed, which angers me greatly. RS3:BA was one of the more fun XBL games around, and to see this happen to the franchise is disheartening.

... I also thought the ring that denotes your cone of fire was supposed to EXPAND when running, not CONTRACT?!?
 
Hate to stray off topic...but I would just like to tell all the folks on the CAG team that there will be a game tomorrow at 10 pm est...and I also remind everyone to check their inboxes for the invites...I sent out 14, and so far only 2 people have officially joined. I will see you on the battlefield :twisted:

Sorry, I had a friend over and didn't check the boards. We were playing Halo instead.
 
It was a good time last night anyway -- first time I'd played any Squad games, and I came away liking it. Pretty varied gametypes, too.
