Looks like the two edges of it curve like very fat versions of the "handles" of the dual shock controllers. Looks like you hold it on the left and right side like a very wide controller, then set it down on your lap if you want to type a message.

You're right. Sorry about that.

Updated OP. Might as well just buy it from Best Buy for $30 with no rebates. You could always try and send it in, but it says you can't use it at BB.
 
Hmm, I bought that controller last week. It is a monster!

I got this at my local Best Buy instore, for $30, brand new. No rebates.

That would not be a good controller for me. I know I would get frustrated with a game and break that shaq-fuing thing in half over my knee.
 
It's a very nice controller, I've had it since 3/03 and has been very good to me, especially since I didn't pay for it (Logitech was giving them away to people who could sit through their presentation at GDC)
