Sorry, guess I just assumed at this point everyone had either beat it or read.
I think the timeline on having to say spoilers for that game has long since past. Feel like at least 1 year after a game has been out is good amount of time. I also can not recall hte last game that was spoiled. FOr me it is defineitly about the journey and not the destinantion

I think with season 2 of the show releasing right now there's either new viewers or people playing the game for the first time because of the show.

Normally I would agree but with the show being out, there are a lot of new people paying attention to the franchise. Even if the show ends up altering the story, why risk ruining it by posting spoilers?

And yeah, I get that this is a gaming forum, but it's impossible to play every game.

Agreed on the impossible to play every game idea, although to not know what happens in a much talked about game that released 5 years ago is pretty impressive.

Or how about be a functional adult and just don't drop crucial plot points from major media in worthless drive-by posts for no reason.

If you like your Dooms, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun's a very good one of those with a lot of good accessibility options and difficulty options to make it easier or harder for your tastes.

The incubation team that was at Bungie before their reorganization is now called teamLFG:

Our first game is a team-based action game that draws inspiration from fighting games, platformers, MOBAs, life sims, and frog-type games. Players will inhabit a lighthearted, comedic world set in brand-new, mythic, science-fantasy universe. We can’t wait to reveal more.

I really miss Uncharted. Been replaying the whole series on my Pro and this might be my favorite Sony first party franchise. Wish we were getting a new one instead of Intergalactic.

As much as I love Uncharted... I'd rather they didn't. I think the series ended on a perfect note and we're better off moving on. I think LoU is a great example of this, I enjoyed the second game but it wasn't necessary; the first game stood on its own and it didn't need a sequel.

Uncharted 2 was my favorite one. I feel like it pushed boundaries in gaming

Same here. Uncharted converted me from a Nintendo gamer to a Sony gamer, even though it wasn't the critical success of ND's many other games, it was such an amazing game. So I had insane expectations for Uncharted 2 and it still blew me away. To me, the train explosion part is still one of the most technically impressive memories I have.

Kills me to say this, but I agree....4 did end on perfect note. As much as I would love another. There are games similar to play like Tomb Raider series, Horizon, or even the new Indy (boy do they nail the vibe).

They probably can't considering the creative director and writer for the Uncharted series left Naughty Dogs.
Druckman helped write uncharted 1, 2 & 4 and directed 4. After Amy Hennig left they basically scraped her version of UC4 from what I remember and rewrote it. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to do it without her as the only one she solely wrote and directed was uncharted 3 if memory serves.

Nathan Drake and company's story ended.
Maybe they can make an Uncharted-like game with different characters.
(Like Infamous and Second Son).
People will complain that it's a copy but make it good and they won't complain.

A even more truly stupid idea...make a indie style game (or more than one) with lower graphics, lower time committment, faster turnaround and lower price. Get us interested in new IP and then you can create the next franchise with everything improved.

Also, it's being posted to a site that's allegedly about playing games at a low cost, which generally involves waiting to play the games. I probably play one new release a year.

Hey… this is the path of assassins creed. It stopped being an AC series when origins and oddysey came out. They turned into leveling up action RPGs where you had to spec your character to be able to be an assassin. Plus the modern story was tacked on and not a central focus, which connected the original series a decade ago. I’ve been adamant the last five years they aren’t AC games, they’re just another ubisoft open world skinned AC-like series.

Yay the semi-annual discussion of that series which shall not be named. =/

If there's any other frequent argument I get sick of most it's definitely that one.

Surprised someone hadn't said the you watch it not play it line yet.

I'd love to experience SoCom. Never did back when it was going on as I was a 360 dude from the jump and only bought a PS3 for MGS4 and Uncharted lol

Now that was a fun game I haven't thought of in forever.

Socom... that and EQOA, well and FFXI for PS2, got me into online gaming back in the day. My friends from socom carried over to MAG, and wow that was an amazing game. If games like that came back today, that MAY get me out of my shell of being offline/single player only.

does ppl actually care about the modern day part of it? I hate that part in every single AC games. if there was a skip option, I would def skip it. at least the recent games don't make you have to play thru it for longer periods of time like the first couple ones if I remember correctly.

I stopped paying attention to the modern day story after the ezio games, and probably really stopped caring after maybe AC3?

Never thought the modern story was remotely interesting, but I started actively wishing it was completely dropped after Ubisoft used it as an excuse to force Alexios/Kassandra to be straight in the Odyssey DLC.

Honestly, the lore of the genetic memories was a stupid concept to begin with, and the wider lore of the assassins being literally everywhere across the globe and across all of history has gotten so bloated and ridiculous, the (modern) series would be better off if they got rid of the assassins angle entirely at this point.

I haven't played an AC since 3. Kinda tempted to buy that legendary collection (Black Flag, Rogue Remastered, Syndicate, Unity, Origins, Odyssey) for $40. I know I'll probably get burnt out after 1 of them but that seems really cheap.

Current day Druckman is too politically driven by his feminist ideology to write a good story without forced politics and agendas shoved down the audience throat. Just look at the character design for his new game Intergalactic prioritizing the desexualization of women by making the female protag bald.

If he made a new Uncharted, I wouldn't be surprised if what happened to Joel happened to Nathan... just to spit in the face of fans.

Can't tell if serious
