PlayStation Plus

As far as I know, there aren't any discounted subscriptions right now, other than the obvious of paying for more months at a time and thus averaging a lower rate per month.

There are a couple of less-straightforward deals though:

1. Many new PS3 games (on Amazon and maybe elsewhere) come with 30-day PS+ trial codes.

2. You can do what I do: get a PlayStation credit card, and make your $50/year subscription purchase using that on the PSN Store. You'll get $5 in PSN credit each time you do it (since it has 10%-back rewards for all PSN Store purchases). Minimum cash-out for a PSN code is $10. Hiccups aside, you're basically getting 10% off of your subscription in the end. They also give you a $50 PSN code as a bonus after making your first purchase, regardless of how small. Just make sure to pay the credit card off in full every month, because the interest rate is extremely high, as you might expect.

There were also some people selling massive quantities of PS+ codes on eBay at a discounted rate shortly after E3, but I'm not sure if they're still for sale. The story of their origin that I heard was that Sony was giving them out at a booth, and some attendees sneakily grabbed handfuls of them.

i bought 42 cards at target while back for $15 Each & get $10 free Gift card every $50 i spent. I sold all 42 cards on ebay for $40 Each :)
