The reason is that if you're interested, even a little tiny bit, please try and grab these shows ASAP this first week to show Disney the support is there. I don't want this to end up like another Gargoyles, where they release part of the show and people wait on it to buy it, and the rest of it never gets put out becase "demand isn't there".

In 2004, the tenth anniversary of its premiere, the first season of the series was released on DVD. The first half of the second season was released in December 2005.

As of June 30, 2006, Weisman announced at the Gargoyles Gathering Convention in Los Angeles, the release of Season 2, Volume 2 is in jeopardy. Wiseman has stated simply, "Volume 1 did not sell enough copies."

Pulled that off the Wikipedia, but I've heard that often enough to consider it true. I mean, Best Buy has that deal where both boxsets are $40, making it $20 per show for 24 episodes of each, which is awesome. Let's show Disney that the support is there, and not only will we get the rest of these shows on DVD but maybe other shows as well.

I was a huge Darkwing Duck fan back in the day, and it will be a travesty if the rest of the episodes never get put out.

I was proud to snag my copy of Darkwing Duck last night even when my girlfriend teased me when I said I was looking for it...she's the one that asked a clerk where it was and then confessed to watching it when it was on...I watched the first 4 episodes and it was awesome...though the music was gayer than I remembered...

Also snagged the complete "Mission Hill" DVD set...wish that show could have lasted.
