Please explain this to me!! FF VII $450???

Holy cow. Didn't that game have a print run in the bazillions? Is the sealed condition really that valuable?

The same dude bought a sealed copy of Super Mario Brothers 3 for $102. I guess he's a wealthy collector.

My friend sold a sealed copy for $80. Oh well....

That is crazy for paying that much. I think he's a massive collector. Well, he has pretty good feedback so I doubt it was a joke bet.

Wonder how much I can sell my PC copies for? I've got one original and complete version, and one sealed budget re-release version. And no, I won't accept any offers of $5 plus shipping! :D

FF7 sealed Non-GH has been running around that price for a while now...Not much of a shocker although I wouldn't pay that much for it...It's not like a car where everyone of your friends will be like "HOLY SHIT! FF7 SEALED?! Jesus Christ...Wait...Wasnt this at walmart for 15?"

How many times are auctions like this going to be brought up here????

It's common knowledge.

They are strictly for collectors.

These were selling at $100, last November.
Then, in Febuary, they broke $250.

This is just the way it works.

That's why I turned down my offers of $300-350, for my sealed Panzer Dragoon Saga.
Also, an offer for my FF Tactics, at $325.

FF 8 is worthless, right now. I was going to sell my whole FF sealed collection, but I have to wait for them to ALL fully mature.

Think about old movie reels. The masters. You couldn't touch Casablanca, or The Excorcist, for that matter, without having at least a few hundred thou!!

Games, are the next form of entertainment. Eventually, they will be at the necks of Hollywood.
Of course they are worth the money.
They are OUR generation's chosen past time.

Don't make me bring up comic books, or even stamps?????, for heaven's sake.
man i must be sitting on a gold mine lol got 3 copies of panzer dragoon saga shining force 3 all sealed for the saturn
For some reason I highly doubt that. I'd like to see pics if possible.

As for FF7, it's got a huge cult following and the original releases (non-GH) are harder and harder to come by, let alone a sealed version. That's why the prices are so high. For a collector with some money it's a new brainer since it will always be popular and it's the one game that finally put RPG's on the map. The prices for the game will likely only go up as time goes by.

The reasoing behind this is so obvious I can't believe no one realized this before, they buyer is obviously a complete and utter moron
