So, Target or Walmart then? Only a few stores that sell video games offer pre-orders or bother mentioning their price in advance. And every one that actually lists their prices normally on their sites is sitting at $45

At this point you're going to have to say what city you're in. In fact, the Walmart link I posted above changes the store prices shown based on the postal codes plugged in. So you can prove you're correct, if you are.

 
Anywhere I've been looking online they are always $45.

Late Saturday night there was a Futureshop after hours sale and I was able to get Alpha for $38.24.
