Pokemon Rumble Blast - Unable to Delete Save?

I was looking into getting a secondhand copy of Pokemon Rumble Blast, when I ran across a review on the internet which stated save data was unable to be deleted. Can anyone confirm?

You can delete it by holding A,B,X,Y when starting up the game.
