I think the video says it all. Just another disgusting display of a police officer abusing his power. And no one doing anything about it.

The power of the Internet, aye?

Sigh....for every 1 of these guys there are about 2 dozen perfectly fine very helpfully officers. The constant blanket statement is tiresome its the same for almost all authority figures.

Makes me kind of glad my local police are just lazy.

Over Christmas, my Jeep got broken into and I called the police department next day. I ended up having to leave a message on their voicemail. A few hours later, I got a call back from an officer, but missed the call. She basically said she was calling me back in regards to a break-in, but when I call them back, to call 911 and they will be dispatched to take a report.

Seriously? I thought 911 was emergency-only? They must get credited with responding to 911 calls, so why not make every one a 911 call... With my luck, they would cite me for abusing the 911 system and wasting resources on non-emergency calls.

I've encountered great cops that understand that it's the public that pays their salary and as such are very nice to deal with. On the other hand I have run into quite a few who think that a gun and a badge make them God and they can do as they please and be as beligerent and rude to everybody as they want to be.

It's those ones that need to get a wakeup call of some sort to reset their God complex.

Why do they keep asking if there is a form? There is no form to fill out. You didn't just get bad service from a waiter or are doing your taxes. I'm not excusing some of the conduct in the video, but I don't get the constant requesting of a form. And when dealing with any kind of legal complaints against the police or otherwise, you should always prepare a written and signed statement of your account. Otherwise, how do you know your account if preserved properly? What's more I would not want my statement to be structured into or confined to a form .

Also, obviously the first question in any inquiry will be what your name is. It's not the internet or a letter to the editor. You can't anonymously toss out complaints against someone's career and even if you did then you can't honestly expect anything productive to come from it. To me it seemed a couple of the stops were going fine until they asked the subject's name and then they refused & starting asking for non-existant forms.
