Poll: How many DS games you own?

If there's one thing that CAG has done, it's significantly increased my DS collection. Between people selling cheaper/clearance games for $5-8 and things like the Amazon 60% off glitch, it's grown like mad.

So, I ask you, how many DS games do you currently own? Don't count games you sold or traded, only ones currently in your possession. Not counting GBA games either. For the poll questions, it starts at 1-10 because this is the DS forum and I'm assuming you own at least 1 game :)

My count: 41, and expecting about 5 more from various trades. Oy vey!

Not seeing a poll... but I have 40 DS games, and the Metroid demo. That'll probably be it until Pokemon Diamond.

I have almost 50. Like 48-49 games. I just bought one today, and I have a couple more that I need to put on the shelf with the main collection, so Im not sure of the exact count.

The DS is the first system that I started collecting for after I joined CAG. Which basically means I got almost all 5o of those games for cheap. I try not to pay more that $20 for a DS game unless Im dying to play it on day one.

Yeah, it posts the thread and creates the poll seperately, so the post was up before the poll was. It's all up now!

Yeah your poll isn't there, but I have 9. I always get rid of them by selling or trading, thinking about letting go of 2 more now and I'm getting 1 for my bday so that'll go down to 8 soon :p.

EDIT: Now there's the poll and I voted

I am not a crook.

And I am not a loser.

I think 46 or so at last count.

If you want to see some nerddom, you should see how I keep all this shizz organized.

I have 38 which is the most games I've ever had for any system. I still need to pick up Hotel Dusk, Yoshi's Island DS, Lost in Blue 2, and Pokemon: Diamond. I predict by the time the system reaches it's death, I'll have 60.

Used to be in the 30-40 group till I cleaned house with the rest of my collection, down to a tidy 17 now. May end up getting rid of a few more, but I'll continue buying - just sticking with the great games for every system at this point.

I voted 41-50; I counted Metroid Demo and my extra copy of World Poker Deluxe Series.

Edit: Scratch that, counted wrong. I actually have 48 DS games, 50 counting the dupe and Metroid demo. I missed a shelf of 8 when counting.

My collection has actually dwindled since getting active on CAG. I'm cutting the fat on my collection as well as trying recoup some cash for when I do a study abroad this summer. I haven't counted but I would guess I'm wavering between 10-20 after being well over 20 at one point

New Super Mario Bros $27 (new, first week pricing)
Tetris $25 (new, GGC)
Hotel Dusk $20 (new, GGC + RZ)
Phoenix $17 (new, CC clearance)
Rocket Slime $17 (new, CC clearance)
Brain Age $15 (new, GGC)
Big Brain $15 (new, GGC)
Cooking Mama $15 (new, GGC)
Polarium $10 (new, TRU clearance)
Sudoku Gridmaster $10 (used)
Viewtiful Joe $5 (new, Target)
Castlevania $5 (new, BB + Gamepro)
Feel the Magic $5 (new, TRU clearance)
Metroid $3 (trade for penny guide + shipping)
Zoo Keeper $3 (trade for penny guide + shipping)
Mario Kart free (part of $100 Amazon DS bundle)
Meteos free (gift)

Every purchase but Sudoku is directly attributable to CAG, even if it's just GGC awareness.

2 games, 0 systems

So if anyone wants New Super Mario Bros. or Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2 at a reasonable price. PM me. I'll let them go cheap as I have no use for them.

11, though that only counts what I have right now. I'm sure I've owned at least three times that (and rented another half dozen or more). I only keep games I'm actually possibly going to play again. I don't "collect" stuff (well, probably with a very, very few exceptions which don't even exist anymore).

I have 31 DS games currently. I have Kirby Squeak Squad on backorder at DeepDiscount, so once I get that I will have 32. Then I am definently getting Pokemon Diamond the day it comes out(already preordered it). Pokemon Diamond is definently going to take up a lot of my time on my DS, probably more than any other. I have also paid less than retail for most of the games. I would say my favorites are StarFox Command, Animal Crossing Wild World, and LostMagic.

I demand pictures... I love seeing how people organize their stuff.

I'm one of the obsessed nerds with over 50  ... I think. I've added to the collection considerably here lately... Amazon's DOTD isn't helping!

All my DS games are in a box under the bed at the moment, but then I'm travelling. When I get home, I want to do the DS case for GBA thing and build some killer shelves for my handheld collection :bouncy:

1-10 is modest? That's a pretty wide range...

DS - 21 counting First Hunt (which was a game in it's own right for awhile when I was in the dorms)

GBA - It's down to 40 something now, I keep gifiting my old GBA games to my younger cousins for birthday presents.

I have 12 right now but I am going to sell two of them. I dont even like the system that much, all of the games I have (excluding the two I am selling + FF3) were found at clearance for $3-5 each. I cant pass up very many games at that price point, regardless of quality and system. :) I get my worth out of them anyway.

I'm at 57 right now, and plan on getting Spectrobes ($21 through Gamefly), Diddy Kong Racing ($20 at CC), Meteos Disney Magic ($20 at CC), Lunar Knights ($24 if can find it a Target- I doubt it though...if not I'll get it at BB for $25 after GGC).

For shaaaame.

I have 34 right now- 36 counting the Metroid demo & my Pokemon Diamond preorder. I don't expect that number to stop growing anytime soon either, over half of them I've gotten just within the past 4 months(and I've the system since launch).
Every time I think I'm caught up, some new sale will come up, or some game I forgot about will get released. My plan at the moment is to only get Pokemon Diamond & Capcom vs. SNK Card Fighters between now & the end of April.

i own Metoes, I'm just going to get the new Disney version now because I love Nightmare before Christmas...that's all.

I think I'm around 25 or so now, and constantly battle the urge to "purge" some of the titles from my collection. But this time, I'm keeping pretty much all of them, because to this day I am kicking myself for ever giving away my original (circa 1990) Gameboy + 20 or so games I had for it. Doubtless the kid who has it now is not playing with it too, which is even more depressing.

Well shoot... A few years back, before the DS really took off in popularity, I was in Japan and looking at these slim card cases. They held 6 games each. I only bought 3 at the time, because I figured I'd *never* have more than 10 or so games.

Fast forward to today, and those card cases are all full. Another dozen or so games are relegated to their boxes, sitting on the bookshelf. Granted, they're not all technically games. Brain Training 1,2... Kanji training, Japanese dictionary, etc.

I have 8 and just bought 2 today and pre-ordered Pokemon Diamond...I think I might return the 2 I just bought today though
I have 8 and just bought 2 today and pre-ordered Pokemon Diamond...I think I might return the 2 I just bought today though
What are they?
What are they?
Hotel Dusk and Elite Beat Agents but I think I might return them because I have other games I want to beat first and then by the time I finish them,Pokemon Diamond will be out and I'll be all over that game.

I have a sizable backlog of DS games at the moment as well, mainly because I tend to like to get games when I can, even if I know I won't get to them for awhile. But I'd definitely recommend either keeping those two, or rebuying them later, because Hotel Dusk & EBA are two of the best games the DS has to offer IMO.

And as I predicted, I've already added another one to my pile( Megaman ZX, I've been watching it for a while and found it on clearance at K-Mart tonight). I can only think of a few more DS titles I don't already own that I'm even interested in, so this should be it for real until Pokemon. I hope.

My statistics show that I have 29 games - it'll be 31 soon. Not bad since I got my DS Onyx on Christmas. At this pace, my DS collection will outpace everything else that I own.

Here's my top 5 collections:

PS2 - 99 games
Strategy guides - 60
GBA - 34
N64 - 32 (nearly all complete with box & manual)
DS - 29

I only play my DS these days since I don't have time like I used to.

I have 16. I had more, but I got rid of a bunch. I actually want to get rid of some of these, but no one looks at my TL anymore :(.

Probably 6-8 at the moment. I sell or trade most games after beating (sell or trade online I mean, not to the ass-raping game stores).

I have about 12 DS games at the moment, I don't keep games once I'm done playing with them, I also have a small group of friends and we swap games all the time so I don't feel the need to buy every DS game I think about playing.

I also need to get Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

Well, it's been a good few weeks on CAG, I'm officially over the 50+ mark thanks to some trading. My roommates don't understand my fascination w/ the DS, they each own a DS Lite but only have a combined total of 5 games between the 2 of them.

This is the 1st system I've ever wanted this many games for. Almost all previous consoles or handhelds, I've never owned more than 10-20 games for any of them. So, to all the 40 or 50+ owners, which is it? Obsessed w/ games in general, or is the drawing power of the DS just too much?
