Poll: how many vehicles do you have in your household?

We currently have 3 cars (for 2 people!) but that's because we just bought a new one last weekend and we haven't sold the other 2 yet. Ask again in about a month and the answer should be 1.

We've got 3 right now, with only two adults. One of them is up for sale right now. I hate having one car always sitting in the driveway, getting no use.
My wife's Passat and my 6 (zoom zoom!!)
My sister bought a Passat new, and it's been in the shop at least once a month for the entire two years she's had it. Unfortunately, she just missed out on a technicality for the lemon law to require a replacement. With a repair record like this, I don't know how Volkswagon stays in business.

I have a 2000 Jetta and it's the first and last VW I'll buy. It has constantly been in the shop and I am completely anal about taking care of it. Plus, I just got the 4th recall notice in the mail the other day. The 2nd recall was for the power window mechanism - I went to roll up my passenger's side window one day and it just shattered into a million pieces. Thank god no one was in the passenger's seat at the time (although most of the broken glass ended up in the door). I like the car but it's definitely not worth the hassle.

We have two, both belonging to my father- A badass 1996 Black Toyota 4Runner, and a beat up old 1992 Honda Accord LX that won't start.

0. I don't allow motorized vehicles in my house. They must remain outside.

Now that that's done the real answer is 2.

2 here. The wife drives a Ford Freestar and I have a Honda Accord which is currently not driveable after some dumbass crashed into me. My daughter is taking drivers ed and keeps on hinting about a car so maybe 3 in the near future.

4 cars, four people.

There's:

2001 Chevy Tahoe (Dad)
2002 or 2003 Chevy Trailblazer (Mom)
2000 Chevy Impala LS (Me)
2005 Dodge Stratus (Sister, but she can't drive it yet)

No Likey Foreign Cars?
No Likey Foreign Cars?
Apparently not.

5/6 of ours are foreign.

MB S500
Porsche Carrera Turbo
Acura TSX
Toyota Camry
Subaru WRX

We have 7 for two people(me and my wife), we both have company cars(a Civic for her and a Santa Fe for me) and than she has a Honda Accord, I just bought a 2006 Legacy GT like 3 weeks ago and still have my Escalade. Also I am in the process of fixing up a 1986 Buick Grand National and a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am.

1 car for 2 people.

'95 Honda Accord (Mom)

It's still running pretty good, actually, after 10 years. The air conditioning is broke, but it still gets from point A to point B fine.

I won't exactly call a Toyota 4Runner "badass".
That is, unless you did something really cool to it.
:)

No such thing anymore. I used to have a Dodge that was built in Canada (now they're built in Mexico), and Dodge is owned by DaimlerBenz, a German company.

I now own a Mazda that was built in Michigan and Mazda is owned by Ford.

Which one is the foreign car?

Yeah, I don't think we're going to be repeat VW buyers either. It's a shame, because my wife really likes the Passat a lot as a car. The design and aesthetics are right up her alley and the car drives great. It hasn't been as solid or reliable as I think a $30,000 car should be though.

I hope and pray that I have a good experience with my Mazda 6 - so far (about two years in) I absolutely *love* it. Sometimes I just stare at it. And it drives even better than it looks. Such a great car for the money.

yeah german technology does have its flaws..My friend has a 2000 VW Jetter Wolfblitz ed and that thing went bonkers on us....we were driving to the mall and all of a sudden the windows kept going up and down up and down....poltergeist style...anyway VWs have a great engine but everything else you could just get out of a 15,000 dollar car.

This is what i have 2 cars for 3 people(mom cant drive)
1995 Acura Integra LS(Mine)
2000 Nissan Maxima GXE (dads)

We had two. One ran, one didn't it was a 78 chevy impala. that my brother-in-law, my dad, and me were going to restore. However the local city said that it was violating some law by sitting in our driveway here in America. So they kept sending us letters telling us to move it. We finally moved it after they told us they would take us to court if we did not move it. I live in a shitty neighborhood. I mean shitty like there is a crack house up the street and a weed house down the street. And they our worried about a stupid car. the outside of it was in great shape to so it was far from a eye sore.

2 for 2:

1993 GMC Sonoma (me)
1997 Toyota Camry (gf)

We both "upgraded" in December from a 94 Dodge Shadow & a 91 Olds Cutlass Cierra. I tell you what I liked that Cutlass a whole lot more than the Camry. It hauled some serious ass.

4 for 1 person:

2 company cars: 2004 Hummer and a sensible 2003 Honda Accord
1 sporty car: 2001 bmw roadster
1 classic: 1976 GTO (in the process of restoration)
