Thought this wasn't supposed to be out until December... after constant delays, it looks like the game actually came out EARLY, and is in stores now.

I only know of EB / Gamestop getting it in... I'm hoping other retailers, namely Best Buy, will decide to stock it, just so I can use that $10 coupon.
 
if the reviews are kind to this game, I may be willing to pick this up, which would be my first RPG in ___ years! (I forget when FFIX was released, but it wasn't recent).

I oddly prefer rpgs on portables, I have no reason why...? and usually console ones are better anyway :lol:

Anyways, lol. Im playin the game right now. Its pretty good, the battle mechanics are pretty simple (when you turn the AI off). Im still counting down til Tales of Eternia comes out Jan 27...

The reviews don't look all that great accept for one. I might pick it up later.
 
Wow, I had no idea this game came out.....hmmm too buy it, or wait...... Will pick it up if Best Buy decides to stock it...but thats YMMV since the best buys I have gone to lately haven't stocked the one game I have been wanted which is Legend of heros.
 
GameInformer reviewed this one awhile back and gave it an 8.5 :) It's games like this, Legend of Heros, and Kingdom of Paradise that make me want to pick up a PSP.

Game came out November 29th, wasn't supposed to be out until December 5th, if I remember correctly.

Plus, days and months blend together when you work all the time :(

Same here, I just like to relax on a lazyboy and game for a few hours...
 
I saw this at the store today... and the back had a comment from a magazine that said it is better than console rpgs this year. I think it was game informer which I don't respect at all, and it was used by the company to promote their game, but it still makes me want impressions from people who buy it on CAG. So, post em up when you get it please :)
 
HAH, better than any console RPG's my ass!

The game is alright, but it doesnt get anything special, i'd say that Tales of Eternia and Legend of Heroes blow it out of the water.
 
maybe better than console rpgs(not saying much imo) but probably not better than Riviera...

I am about to finish this but didn't want to start a thread just for such an occasion. Does anyone have a link to a list of all the souvenirs for this game? I'm missing a handful and I hear you can walk around the world monster free after you finish.
