Yeah, yeah, yeah. The "if you actually read what I wrote" thing is starting to get old.

The problem started here:

Everything that occurred, thereafter, stemmed from that problem which you caused.
Uh...o.k. I guess in your world that Brak logic makes sense. Let's see, libraries send overdue notices to tell you that you have late fees and/or books out or missing. If you don't get these notices because the library fucks up then you can't know that you have items missing. Look, I don't care paying the original late fees that were due and giving them their books back, but give me some notice before all of a sudden I have collection agency hounding me. how would you feel if your CC company screwed you over and you didn't receive the CC bills, but then all of a sudden received notice from a collection agency. Same thing.

I have some overdue fees at the library, but the librarians always tell me to "just pay it later. ;)"

I think I had a book for a month too long, five years ago, and I only owe, like, 85 cents.

That makes me wonder how long hiccup forgot about his books.

Not to ape your arguing arsenal, but: Did you read the post of mine that you quoted?

You know? The one where I acknowledge the library's err, on top of your long-winded, redundant retort to which addressed what you - apparently - wished I had said?

Yeah.

That one.

I guess you can't handle the fact that you have to take part of the blame.

Saints Row is money but I seem to be doing a lot of shit and not getting cheesemints for anything. I think I've played for a solid 6 hours or more and only have 20 points (which I got in like the first 20 minutes).
Sending a collection agency is over the line, especially since they had your address wrong... but who checks out books and forgets about them?

Is your room messy?
Sending in a collection agency was simply excessive. We, tax payers, pay the library so going after us with CC tactics is exactly as you said, over the line.

In all my years with libraries, I've only had maybe a handful of times where I was late, but I received notices to them, and then I was only late by maybe a week or two max. The two books I had out were just a couple of quick pieces of literature, basically those $5 pocket paper back books you can get at Walmart. My room isn't too messy, though I am one of those organized messy people. I just simply forgot that I had some books out that I took out around thanksgiving. This last part of the year has been a barage of stress, being hectic, and just certain things going wrong in my life right now.

Sounds like me and Guitar Hero III.

Just read whatever books you need to read in Border's or Barnes and Noble.

No late fees, couches, free concerts (sometimes) and there's coffee.

I apologize, but you edited right after I had posted or at least my browser only loaded up this portion of it:

It's not that hard to understand, really. If you hadn't forgotten about the books you checked out, you wouldn't be having this problem right now. Brak's saying that the library is wrong in sending the collection agency but that it stems from something that was originally your fault.

Yeah, I think I'm just going to do that. Still, I'm usually not a fan of their in-store concerts. They're not particularly any good out here.;)

I'm loving CoD4.

I'm getting cheesemints left and right. :D

Do you get to keep achievements if you do 'em and then die?

I'm looking at the list, and most of 'em are for Veteren. D=

Ugghh.... I'm saying that I know it was my fault, I take full responsibilty for it being my fault, but why the collection agency all of a sudden. It might be the end of the year, but how am I even supposed to know that I need to schedule a visit to the library to return material that is overdue if I don't know or don't receive their notices warning me about it. It was just boom, collection agency calling me and then I got the agency's letters. Why can't the library just take care of its own business and send the warning/notices properly?

Once the "achievement unlocked" notification pops up on your screen its unlocked for good.

You're lucky. Out here I guess they charge a dollar a day or a dollar a week or something for it to add up so quick. Thank god there's at least a cap at $4.

Anyway, sorry for the vent guys, but off the topic of libraries and back to reading the book I just bought as vindication to the library, Phillip K Dick's awesome The Man in the High Castle. 50 page in and it kicks ass.

Don't steal my gimmick, Maklershed.

Is A Scanner Darkly worth reading?
Don't steal my gimmick, Maklershed.

Mutton chops? Consider your gimmick stolen. At least until I go back to work on Wednesday anyway.

If I could, I would have a Hitler moustache.

Neo-Nazis never rock The Hitler, so it's safe.

Besides, the keyboardist in Sparks had a Hitler moustache.

Oh good. I killed some $$$$a while I was flashed, then got killed by some other dude.

I don't see myself playing through games just to get extra achievements, though. Just if it happens during the course of the game.

I want to get CoD 2 or 3 now, since I enjoy WWII settings. It's probably pretty damn cheap at GS used now.

CoD2 is a PH, and it's $25 at Target.. so I'm sure USED can be found for like.. $0.23

Ooof..parents took us to Golden Corral tonight. :puke:
Toooo much food!

Anyone able to play COD4 multi?

It keeps telling me I need an active network/connection.. even though I'm on Live and just downloaded a movie. ^__^

Looks like it's $9.99 used at GS.

Might have to consider it.

Did you see Graystone while you were there?

I just ordered Ninja Gaiden DS from GS.com with that free shipping coupon. I don't care about the game but I so need that fucking stylus.

Yeah the stylus looks awesome, when does that come again? I thought it wasn't coming until like march.
Yeah the stylus looks awesome, when does that come again? I thought it wasn't coming until like march.
Yeah, it's sometime in March.

I've been wanting that stylus since it was given out at TGS 07. I'm so happy they're giving it as a preorder bonus.
Is everyone else's Live working? Shit is still showing me that loading shit. What the fuck.

My Live works in-game, though. Like, I just got a friend request while playing CoD4.

But my Gamercard thing isn't updating.

GRRRRRRR.
My live keeps telling me people sign on and off, but i get the can't log into messenger crap and COD gets pissed when I try to go find an online game. I can't log in via the dashboard live blade either, but my network "test connection to live" works perfectly...

this.

Now that I'm rockin the big ass mutton chops, I look like Pat Garrett in Young Guns 2. I feel like I should be riding around on one of those bicycles with the huge front wheel and the small back wheel.

When I log into live not while in a game, it sits loading the blade for like a half an hour. Works fine when I log in while in a game though.

Off to watch the Pats make history.

Same shit that happened to me earlier.

(1)
It's going to be a starred record to start with 16-0*.
*caught cheating and fine heavily, including loss of a first round draft pick in 2008.

It's pointless if they don't run the table and win the Superbowl. (They probably will, they love to ruin the sport.)

:D
fuck football. I'm going to finish this hard mode if it kills me.
football is wicked awesome when the patsies aren't ruining it.

I watched football 10 years ago. I did a math project on it. Every Sunday my parents and I would make picks.
Now I don't know who is good etc.
Oh I watched the Bucs in the super bowl. My alma matter is in a bowl game, I should watch it but I won't.
