portable n64?

jab1235

CAGiversary!
i've allways been interested in modding a n64 to make it portable and i just kinda thought about doing it, so i researched it and learned that it's hard.... so me being lazy and probably not capable of making one i ask you:

is there anywhere i can buy a portable n64?

i have way to many (stuipid) questions, thanks for putting up with me :p.

... Or wait to buy the new 3DS, since it will be riding the coat-tails of the N64 (Legend of Zelda OoT), PS2 (MGS3), and Xbox 360 (Resident Evil Revelations).

Or, again, just go with the PSP since you can run an N64 emulator.

Why exactly would the 3DS be good for him in this situation? Because of the pseudo OoT remake and a couple of unrelated games? It doesn't even have a date or price or lineup let alone any insight to it's modding capabilities

I have never heard of a portable n64. The size and weight may be a problem, other than that it is a cool idea.

thanks, i was just wondering.
i already have a psp and i don't feel like modding it because im an idiot and i'll break it, thanks though :D!

Not only OoT, but Mario Kart, Kid Icarus, Star Fox 64, etc. Plus on a related note, it wouldn't be practical to carry around N64 cartridges IF he was able to somehow assemble a handheld version of a N64. OP even said that he doesn't feel like modding a PSP, and I agree with him that if you don't know how to mod a PSP you may end up screwing yourself over.
