Possible buy 2 get 1 free sports game at game stop saw some 2006's YMMV

Was at a gamestop in Columbus Oh and was told about a buy 2 get 1 free sale starting tomorrow 8/22 on sports game, saw some 2006's games in the case. Any gamestop employees out there know if this is a national thing or just at this store, of if there is a possible buy 2 get 1 for everything or just the sports games?
